    Urinary Blockage

I hope your kitty is feeling better. I had a cat who blocked twice in a week also, but not a 3rd time. He hasn't needed PU surgery yet, so I can't say much on that. Was the food you were given Hills C/D or S/D? S/D is what you need right now, it works to dissolve crystals. That is usually given...

How much do you spend on your cat every month? (Food/Litter/Treats, etc)

Generally, it's suggested that you feed kittens as much as they want to eat. Since they're growing, they need far more food than adults. So most put out a plate of food & let them have at it until they walk away. Whatever they don't eat after 15 min or so can be refrigerated until the next feeding

How much do you spend on your cat every month? (Food/Litter/Treats, etc)

Close to $200. Thing is, about 80 of that is for 2 cats. The other 120 is on the 3rd alone. He has a history of bladder crystals & blockages, so he has a special diet & all. It's probably even more than that.

Babble Away! A Babbling Contest With Prizes!!

@GrizzlySapien  You've never heard of YouTube!? Most of the youtubers/beauty gurus on there make money from advertising, like you said. They millions or even tens of millions of followers & each video gets hundreds of thousands of views. So if they activate the ads, they get paid per view. But...

    kitten pees a lot!?

Aww, sorry for all your issues & worries. I can understand since I have a cat with urinary issues. But at this point, your kitty has had at least 2 urinalysis & 1 fecal tests, right? If both vets aren't finding anything, I wouldn't keep worrying & creating an issue that isn't there. For urinary...

Babble Away! A Babbling Contest With Prizes!!

@GrizzlySapien  Haha, you're so funny. Ig = Instagram. Snapchat is where you snap a photo with your phone & send it a friend, but it only appears on their phone for a short time. Personally, I think it's stupid because I could always take a screen shot of my phone & keep the photo. Vine is an...

If a cat is in pain

Like suggested, if I suspect an injury, I'll go over to them & palpate the area where I think I might have hurt them. If I did, they'll yelp or withdraw.

Babble Away! A Babbling Contest With Prizes!!

I love social networking also. There would be no other easy way for me to keep up with HS friends & old friends I've met through the years. I'm pretty much over FB. I only use it to follow some magazines and bloggers. Instagram is where its at for me. I never got into Twitter (although I have...

Wet food for cat after UTI/crystals

You know, when I went to our new vet this past fall, she was really knowledgeable about FLUTD and urinary issues. She stated that monitoring phosphorous & magnesium levels is now thought to be less effective. She stated that it was based on some studies done many years ago & that there aren't...

Babble Away! A Babbling Contest With Prizes!!

I just upgraded to the Galaxy S6 which is waterproof. That's great for when my kitty decides to throw my phone into the sink while I'm washing my hands. Yes, he's done that!

Wet food for cat after UTI/crystals

I've finally transitioned my boy over to all wet food, after 5 years of Hills Rx C/D dry only. Now he has some Hills Rx C/D wet stew formula, but mostly Cats in the Kitchen, Pride by Instinct and Nature's Variety Instinct 95%. All non fish formula's. Although, I had to bribe him by mixing in...

Babble Away! A Babbling Contest With Prizes!!

Oooh, this is fun! My mom finally stopped coloring her hair, but this last Sunday I was at her house to bbq & she asked me to put a light relaxer in her hair. Its more of a texturizer that loosens the curl since her hair is super curly & kinky. It came out super cute! Only problem...her gray...

    Emergency c-section recovery

Awww, poor thing! I also went through an emergency c-section with 1 of my stray cats that has since become an indoor cat. Same deal where 1 kitten was very large & couldn't come out. They also spayed her at the same time. But they gave us pain meds for her to take for about 4-5 days. Have you...

Hills C/D vs. Royal Canin SO special urinary food? Any input appreciated!

I have only used wet & dry hill's C/D. He lived on the dry C/D for about 4 years. He seemed to enjoy it. He never turned his nose up to it, but he had constant issues. While he never blocked again, he had about 3 more bouts of cystitis. Every single time it was a couple weeks after we were away...
