I love showing her off
Slowly adding some Purina One Sensitive Systems into her diet and so far she LOVES IT. She’s such a funny girl. She’s picking the piece out from her normal dry food and eating those only.
I forgot what it was like to have a kitten that only poops once a day, it’s really nice
Off to get some sensitive tummy food today, but she’s doing really well.
Here she is trying to get me to toss her favorite ball.
She’s an extremely vocal cat and after she poops she runs around trilling Another solid poo this AM and NOTHING ELSE! Notice a huge difference in her energy levels.
She’s getting a teaspoon of pumpkin purée morning and night, as well as probiotics. Seems to be working wonders!
That’s so true! One of my parents cats (she’s 12) is SO picky! So I’m lucky in a way Ruby will eat whatever. I’ve heard good things about Purina One Sensitive Systems, and the price is pretty good, and it’s easily accessible for me.
Update on Roo: Solid poo about 15 minutes ago? She was oddly...
Yeah I’m convinced it’s the food and all the changes and I overwhelmed her little system. She had one almost completely solid stool today, and then a cow pie with a solid piece at the end. I think the probiotics are helping. Also, I remembered today that she has always had sort of stinky poo...
100 km/h winds and two hyperactive cats. Someone save me! LOL
No mushy poos in the litter since I left this morning. I really think this is food related. At my parents, the cats eat very cheap dry cat food. It's the same thing she ate when we lived there, and since moving out (in September)...
Thanks for the quick replies. In the middle of a winter storm, but I’m going to call tomorrow to book an appt with the vet. She is FINE except for the soft stool. She is her energetic self! Just started fortiflora last night though! And he stool was SLGHTLY better this AM!
Thank you. She’s just so different in personality from any other cat I’ve had, I suspected there might be at least a hint of Siamese or something in there! She’s such a little chatter.
Also thanks for explaining the background as well, I really appreciate it. She’s referred to as a Siamese mix...
Hi there friends!
This is Ruby, and she was adopted from a Rescue in August. She was pure white at the time, but within a week we noticed she had a tannish colour on her tail and her ears.
We were told at the vet she may have Siamese in her, and I know there’s lots of knowledgeable people here...
Sigh, just went to the litter box and had a pure liquid stool. Got it on her bum and everything. I know it can’t be a blockage, she’s eating, drinking etc. I have no idea how she’d get worms and I’ve inspected her poop, there’s nothing in it. I’ve started her on a probiotic so fingers crossed...
Thanks again for the advice and reassurance. Little update: Pumpkin seems to be helping a lot (Ruby also LOVES it), she’s having slightly more formed stools now (they’re still soft, and usually end up in a little swirl, but that’s much better then the goop we were dealing with before), and she...
Thank you both for your replies. I will order some Fortiflora to have on hand. I’ve mixed some can pumpkin with her food and it seems to have helped a bit, the stool has a bit more shape to it than before. She went about 8 hours without a movement, which is the longest she’s gone for about four...
Hi there!
I have a 7 month old flame point Siamese mix named Ruby. We recently travelled home (four hour car ride) and back for the holidays. Upon returning to our apartment, I noticed that Ruby is having soft, mushy stool that is very smelly. This has been going on for about five days, with no...
