Doing breakfast for dinner. Starting with a salad, having boiled broccoli with my breakfast sandwich - made with a 2 egg omelet with mushrooms and cheddar cheese, jalapeno spam and 1 slice Russian rye bread. Apple and yogurt for a dessert.
salad with homegrown brandywine tomato, gnocchi with maitake mushrooms and corn with thyme and brown butter. For dessert some charentais melon and elephant island framboise dessert wine.

We are having salad, and mushroom calzones with ricotta, and a spicy marinara sauce, 1 spinach Florentine chicken sausage (sugar-free) for me, and maybe an apple for dessert.
There has been research that shows that some folks respond to the taste of sweet as if it really is sugar they are eating - re gaining weight, having cravings etc. I do not use artificial sweeteners whatsoever, in part because of that. If I want something sweet, I have fruit or a "real" sugar...

breakfast - large opal apple with 6 oz. homemade yogurt, cinnamon atop. 1 oz. half and half with my strong coffee <propping up eyelids. I wasn't ready to wake up but that sound of a cat retching..fortunately on the windowsill, not my quilt, got me up).
Made a sausage sub with a gf half French baguette, yellow, red and orange bell pepper slices and an organic spinach Florentine chicken sausage,a slice of provolone cheese, wee bit of mayo. Yummo. Salad to start. Peanut butter and chocolate ice cream (a little single serve size) for dessert :)
