    Suma's Litter

twins are possible in cats, more common in some breeds, I think I have heard Siamese are more likely, but I am not sure. My girl had 2 sets of twins in her litter back in May. She had 7 babies and only 5 afterbirths, and the babies with the shared placentas looked very similar, but not exactly...

I'm glad to hear that she doesn't have CH, and I hope she doesn't have epilepsy. Hopefully it was somoething easy like a spell of hypoglycemia or dehydration.

New to Cats, trying to save a life

It seems like at that age they are really testing their boundaries, and our patience, too. Have you looked into neutering? It will help calm some of that down, and stop spraying before it stops.

Here We Go Again - Pregnant Stray (with CH?)

New to Cats, trying to save a life

My big mainecoon has learned to go outside. He meows at the door (if you ignore him, he meows in your face!), and he goes out for about 10-15 minutes, and meows to come back in. He goes out about 6 times a day. He will still use the litter pan if no one is home to let him out.

    one cat and nine kittens

yes, calcium is very important if she is nursing 9 babies. My momma cat had 7 kittens, and she had low calcium, we had to supplement her diet. I practice a modified whole food diet in my house, so I included things like fresh fish, egg yolk, fresh cooked meats and organ meats, as well as the...
