One of my cats love fuzzy blankets. She nurses on them & occasionally, thankfully not very often, she will squirt butt juice on the blanket. It just happened last night so that's why I came on here to see if anyone else's cat does this. It's terribly stinky, smells like fish & poop & it's dark...
I'm considering after all these years in getting a litter mat, how does it work for you? I usually just put a sheet on the floor but am wondering if there's a better option.
****update*****
She stayed in the cat carrier up until bedtime, so 1130am to 9ish. I got her to come to the bed & lay down on my legs. I gave her a little bit of Feline Natural freeze dried & she gobbled that up, so that made me feel better she ate something. She doesn't want any food in the am...
She's had the food before, no issue. What I think might have happened is she didn't eat anything last night. I always put a can of food out before bed & lately she's been turning her nose up at it. So if she didn't eat all night & then scarf the raw down, that might be the problem. She's still...
Weird. I bought some frozen chicken, my cat ate some around 8-815 am, she just threw it all up 3 hours later & now looks sick. She looks like she doesn't feel well at all. She even went & got in the cat carrier.
I hope there's nothing wrong with the frozen food.....
I always read clay is the worst for dust but when I had the girl in my profile pic, I used Arm & Hammer Super Scoop & there was no dust. On a black cat, if there's dust, you're gonna see it. I wanted to see if the product changed so I actually just bought some about a week ago, I poured it into...
I've been using Pioneer Pet Smart Cat grass litter for about the last year. No dust but it tracks BAD. As I was getting tired of all the litter everywhere, I thought I would tray Petco & Petsmart brands of grass seed. The Petco one is definitely less dusty than Petsmart. I dumped the Petsmart...
The least worst dry food I have found is Young Again & Ziwipeak. Most of their products have low carb content, that's why those are the only ones I would purchase.
Fudge that's crazy. That would drive me insane if they did stuff like that. I wouldn't know how to deal with an animal not using the toilet in the right manner.
My 3 have grown up together so for the most part they get along well. One asserts herself to be the queen & the others fall in line...
I agree. Wish there were more holistic vets around. People that understood the problems cats face & try to correct it instead of handing out meds to alleviate the symptoms. I prefer to fix the problem.
Yes that's how I learned of Miralax in the first place, from here. Back in the day people...
I've given her 2 doses of D-Mannose now, let her lick some coconut oil, syringed water & then added water to some turkey food. She just peed & it was totally normal. I don't know if what happens is the beginning stages of a UTI which can be terminated by intervention or what the deal is. Not...
I don't feed dry. I added a little water to my cat's food yesterday & not one of them ate it all day. I finally had to put FortiFlora on it to get rid of it. She will let me syringe water into her mouth, some times I do that but I know it's really not enough. Pumpkin does nothing.
That's rad...
The Miralax was 1/8 tsp. I would typically give in the am for breakfast. It did work, for many months, but then she was straining again. So that's when I switched the psyllium & that seemed to work really well. I have the same amount, just 1/8 tsp. Then I saw her straining again so I figured the...
