my boy is very afraid of people and allows me to pet him very seldomly 😞 I'm able to brush his back and tail but his belly... he'd never let me 🥺 Should I take him to the vet for grooming? I'm very confused because his fur has never been this... clumpy (?)
Hi everyone!
i have a ~5 year old turkish angora mix that has had IBD for about a year at this point (probably some kind of allergy :( )
He is on medication for it, a very low dose that I mix into his food once a day.
In the past 6 months or so his fur has started looking like what you see in...
Hello!
I adopted my 2 year old boy in February, he used to be a street cat and isn’t affectionate at all. Up until a month ago he didn’t even meow, ever.
This changed when he suddenly began sitting in front of the front door at like 3 am, meowing like crazy. I live in a single room apartment...
Thanks!
I’m not sure yet. I want to keep him here with me for as long as possible. Even if I do leave him with my family in Germany i’d stay with him for at least 2 months before going back to Korea. :)
Hello everyone!
First time cat servant here with lots of questions. I adopted my cat this year, he was a stray in a redevelopment area. He’s currently living with me in Korea but is eventually going to live with my family in Germany. My place in Korea is quite small so there’s no dangerous...
Hi! He’s doing a lot better :) he’s only sneezing about 5 times a day now, his eyes stopped watering and he’s running around playing again. Thank you for asking
Hi!
First time cat owner here. My little boy started sneezing a lot about 3 days ago. Yesterday his eyes started watering, so I took him to the vet. I’m now giving him medication for URI and also a possible liver problem. He has stopped sneezing as much but his eyes are still watery and he’s...
Haha no problem, thank you for your kind words, it really made me feel a lot better :)
Yep that’s him :) his name is 흑이 - i think the best way to spell it in english would be hyg-e? I’m living in Korea and that’s the name they gave him at the shelter, it’s equivalent to ‘blacky’ :)
Oh okay thank you, that is good to know! The shelter estimated him to be 1-2 years old when he was rescued, so he was definitely older than a year when he contracted the corona virus at the shelter. My cat is strictly an indoor cat, so I’m hoping this will shield him from as many diseases and...
Thank you so much for sharing. I always try to remember that most street cats and lots of cats living in a household with other cats are at risk of developing FIP, so I don’t feel so alone in this. I hope our furry friends stay healthy! ❤️
