Show Us Your Rescues : Then and Now Photos

The first day Remy was with me on the left and on the right is me and him in the bathroom a couple of days later because we needed to hide in there so Maisie would come out and eat (because she was scared to be around me). Remy was very into lap cuddling almost immediately. As you can see...

    Name Three Things - 2019

I walked to a nearby church to donate blood, but, for the first time ever, I was denied because my blood pressure was high. I probably shouldn't have walked there. Anyway, I walked back home but took a longer way back so I got in a little more exercise. I've also been working on my final project...

All Thing Books And Reading Thread 2019

I finished listened to the book Recursion by Blake Crouch and I quite enjoyed it. It's kind of in the sci-fi genre, but it's the type of sci-fi that I actually enjoy (where it takes place in modern times and not some super distant future).

Question of the day - Thursday 5 December

I usually do a big wrapping session and then if there are any ones that come later, I'll probably do a second wrapping session.

The Most Precious Gift - And It's Free!

I try to donate as often as I can. Unfortunately, there isn't always a place to do it that is convenient for me (or when I'm not working). The last time I donated was at the State Fair in August. I wasn't planning on donating, but it was there, so I figured, why not? I should check the Red Cross...

    Thankfully I'm strong

I received my latest Chewy order today. It weighed 62 pounds of just food. Thank God I'm pretty strong and was able to carry it to my apartment, but man... I feel bad for the delivery people. No package thieves for that one, I'm sure.

Question of the Day - Tuesday, December 3

It really depends on your native language. For me as an English speaker, languages that use completely different characters like Chinese would be very hard for me. My brother in law is Vietnamese and even though I know how to pronounce his last name, I will never be able to pronounce it...

Question of the Day - Monday, December 2, 2019

I was in a church play as an angel and I didn't have any lines. I was in another church "walking play" where my best friend and I had the most lines, but we stood behind a box and basically narrated the beginning of the play as people then went on to the next part of the play.

Question of the Day, Sunday 1 December, 2019

Canada or Norway. If my family wasn't moving with me, then I'd choose Canada because I live about 5 or 6 hours from the Canadian border and it wouldn't be too hard to visit.

11yr cat only wants Fancy Feast Grilled

I really wouldn't worry about it. More expensive doesn't necessarily mean more healthy. My late cat, Willie, lived to be 17 on a diet that wasn't high-end. My parents' cats have had an even lower quality diet and are 11 and 16. As long as Snowball isn't eating too much and becoming overweight, I...

What's The Weather And Temperature Like Where You Live?? - 2019

It's currently 34*F and snowy and rainy. My knees are hurting so that means it's going to storm soon. I checked the weather forecast and we should be getting 3 to 6 inches of snow in the next day or so.
