I'd like to thank everyone for their prayers and support. It worked! I have finished my radiationi and chemo and I'm CANCER FREE. I still have all 4 cats and so far everything has worked out very well considering the initial diagnosis. Thanks again!
I didn't see in your post what and how much you are feeding this kitten. It sounds like the kitten is not getting enough food. Kittens should be free fed and always have plenty of water.
Hi - I'm having a problem with my 8 year old indoor only cat.
When I pet her on the lower half of her back and base of her tail, her head twitches and she has very sensitive skin. She won't even let me brush her. She does not have fleas and I'm not seeing any white dandruff like stuff on...
have you considered taking him off dry food all together and giving him a wet patte style food? Maybe something with no chunks? If you have nothing in patte style maybe you could try something in the blender (canned) mixed with water and make it a gravy consistency. Maybe that will stay down.
Believe me, the last thing I want to do is give my cats up. I'm worried I'm going to get sick from the chemo and radation and not be able to physically take care of them, let alone financially. We all know how long it takes to rehome a cat, especially when you love your animals the way we do...
After everyone harping on me to quit smoking, they were successful. I quit smoking 2 years ago. I have now been diagnosed with lung cancer. I have a tumor in my chest, a paralized vocal cord and advanced emphazima. I'm single with 4 cats. My family lives a couple hours away. I'm worried...
Oh I'm so sorry to hear that. Keep a close eye on him. Those bites turn into absesses so fast. I wonder if your vet could give you some kind of antibiotic for a preventative measure?
I'm in no way shape or form suggesting that your current vet does't know what he is doing but...have you thought about getting a second opinion maybe by a holistic vet? I'm just thinking that maybe your current vet has done everything inside the box and maybe its time to look "outside the box"...
awesome glad the feeder is working - don't get me wrong I was not advocating obesity I just think 5lbs for a cat is a huge swing in weight gain or loss. Hopefully the feeder and Wellness will work out.
