    Lower Phosphorus freeze dried foods?

I just noticed that Vital Essentials freeze dried pork has a phosphorus % of 0.84 on a dmb, that would be slightly lower than Nulo. I requested the typical analysis data from VE several days ago to check other values. I'm not able to attach the Excel file for some reason, however, you could...

Has anybody tried Fresh Is Best Freeze Dried Raw....Phosphorous %?

Say what? The company, Fresh Is Best, told you to ask your vet to figure out the phosphorus percentage in their food? Totally unacceptable, shame on their rudeness and lack of transparency, on that basis alone I wouldn't use that brand.

Has anybody tried Fresh Is Best Freeze Dried Raw....Phosphorous %?

I personally am not using any foods with kelp anymore, my 14 year old Molly was diagnosed with hyperthyroidism recently. When I used FIB years ago, both my cats enjoyed the food. I would also follow up with the company re phosphorus, to get an updated value.

    Lower Phosphorus freeze dried foods?

I don't know of any freeze dried raw foods lower than Nulo (I used Nulo turkey/duck for two years but stopped using it bc it's high in iodine), however, I've had luck using freeze dried liver to get my cat to eat a food with a supplement in it, recommended by her vet. It sounds like your cat...

Senior 11+ and Freeze Dried Raw Question?

I would contact Feline Natural directly and ask re the phos percentage on a dmb for the freeze dried raw chicken/lamb recipe. Chewy questions/answers lists 1.6 phos dmb which is kind of high if you want to stick with lower phos although that percentage was given in 2019 so it might be different...

Senior 11+ and Freeze Dried Raw Question?

Did Feline Natural confirm that they don't use any ground bone in this product? According to AAFCO's guidance on understanding ingredient lists re: poultry, pet food companies are not required to list ground bone in their ingredient list for poultry: "Poultry: the clean combination of flesh...

    Life’s Abundance Food

I used to order their chick/turkey canned food several years ago, it was one of the few foods both of my cats would eat with gusto. I had to stop feeding it bc one of my cats was allergic to fish (the shrimp in the food). I may give it another try though with my one remaining cat, although...

Anyone using Instinct Freeze Dried Raw?

I've been using Wysong freeze dried quail and rabbit, those two proteins, per the company, don't contain any bone. The food DOES contain veggies, however, (for me it's a trade off) although I haven't noticed that Molly has had any bulkier, increased stool waste with those veggies. She likes...

Anyone using Instinct Freeze Dried Raw?

Agreed, far too bony. I was using Bixbi's freeze dried Rawabble (reconstituted always) chicken/turkey for Molly until I found out the company is using 17% bone in both proteins. This was via Chewy's Q&A, however, confirmed by the company when I inquired, ridiculous, I stopped using it.

Weruva bringing out a new food with even lower phosphorus

I'm surprised I'm having pretty good luck with this WX line so far with my 12 year old super fussy cat. She's not a big fan of shredded meat (or Weruva in general unless it's a fish based food which I feed occasionally), however, the shredded chicken and chicken/tilapia seems palatable to her...

    Bixbi wet cat food?

So far so good with the chicken pate, I will contact them re: phos. Molly recently had her senior panel done - no kidney issues thankfully, I want to keep it that way as long as possible! She'll be 12 years old in December. Wish Bixbi had a turkey or duck pate.

    Bixbi wet cat food?

Rawbble is one of her freeze dried reconstituted meals, however, I feed her a wet food also that's a bit too carby.

    Bixbi wet cat food?

Has anyone seen Bixbi wet cat food in their local indy pet store? I've been using their Rawbble, which Molly really likes, however, I wanted to try to upgrade her wet food. Chewy doesn't have the wet food so wondering if anyone has tried this with their cat(s). https://bixbipet.com/cat Thanks!

    Mouser cat food!

Ok, that's interesting, thank you. I may just give a call to the company to inquire. I'll post back when lil' missy samples her first can, if it works out, hope the company will make the food in 3 oz cans.
