Hi and welcome.
My George used to do the same thing. He would play fetch for hours. Interestingly, he would only do it with one particular toy. We still have the toy, and he'll occasionally fetch it once or twice but not like he used to. He would actually initiate the game by putting the...
In addition to my four kitties, I have a cockatoo named Bee-Bop. She's actually the oldest of all of them (and has been in my family since she was hatched) but I've only had her in my house for 6 years. My two eldest cats, (along with my angel Jasmine) could care less about her and pretty much...
Yeah, I love it too. It is so fantastic.
I had gotten a free sample of one a long time ago, and it sat and sat and sat in my cabinet. Every now and then I would look at it but I kept on putting off trying it. I guess I didn't want to waste it or be disappointed. Then, I was cleaning the boat...
...since I've been here. I used to visit quite a bit, but now these boards are blocked from my access at work, and when I'm home I don't usually spend too much time on the computer 'cause I'm a serious tv addict. Plus, that's where my kitties are (the living room) -- they're not allowed access...
That's an awesome tip -- I never connected the two before, and I've administered a lot of pills. At one time, even my vet said Jasmine had been on about every prescription there was (for a bladder infection that just would not go away).
Hmm... this sure does sound like an interesting situation. On one hand it doesn't sound like a health issue, but then again, it could be. Just because he uses the box sometimes and the sink others doesn't necessarily rule that out. I've had a few expereiences with bladder infections/stones in...
I bought some of these too, and while I've only tried them a few times, my cats don't have ANY interest in them. In fact, they run away from them. They do love regular catnip toys though.
Well, there is that...Jasmine was a pro at knowing when the meds were coming and hiding .....and Pepper definitely avoided me for awhile after I put the softclaws on her.....but I guess I didn't consider them to be moods. Depends on your interpretation of the word, I guess.
wow - Bradley looks just like my Pepper did when I first got her.... already almost 2 years ago now. How time flies. Congratulations, welcome and good luck!
That seems rather absurd to me too. I'd be more inclined to believe one breed is more timid than another, not coloring.
Now, I'm not sure if my experience with Salt counts or not, as he's not pure white (has flame-points and markings on his body too), but he's definitely no more timid than...
My father-in-law had quite a few of them in his collection, and my hubby says once-upon-a-time he read them all. When Papa died a few years ago we took all the books, but I actually have not gotten around to reading any of them yet. I hear they're really good, though.
Hmm...maybe I'm losing my mind. But I could swear that my picture of Salt was appearing in the place of the avatar before. But now I look back and can't find one instance of it, and I don't see how that could have been, anyway. Not a big deal -- I just thought it was odd. Thanks for the info.
I had/have a pic of on of my cats in my profile, and it was appearing on my posts (instead of the kitten avatar), but has suddenly stopped doing so. And the aforementioned kitten avatar now appears instead. Why is this? The profile pic still is there when I look at my Control Panel.
