If it is available, a good baby food always entices the little ones to eat. Recommend Beech Nut venison, turkey or beef flavors...no additives. Just add a little plop of it on top of wet food...they usually go wild over it.

Had similar problem w/14-week old foster...basically had constipation problems since he was 10-days old. Anemias, lactulose, flagyl (for intestinal bacteria build-up), Fortiflora (purina), etc. was given to this poor little guy. For whatever it is worth, I took him off of ALL of the above...

It has definitely crossed-my-mind to hold onto little ole' Chico...but...I have soooo many cats!! It is some real work over here at the zoo I usually end-up keeping those that do not get adopted...will see about Chico.

It seems Buster is the cuddler of the fosters & another male I have, Jimmy, is the kitten-car-wash of the fosters: Jimmy & little Tom Buster doesn't seem sad when the fosters leave...simply beacause they never do leave...this house is NEVER without fosters

How old are your bottle babies and how often are you feeding them? Babies are 4 weeks today...and feeding schedule varies (unfortunately). They seem to be okay for approx. 5-6 hours but if I am close-by their cage area, their little "spidey" senses seem to kick-in and they scream to be fed...

Anyone use goat milk for the little ones? I have been using goat milk for some bottle-feeds (rather than the normal KMR)...feel it is superior to human, cow & store bought formulas...but the little ones have diarrhea. I have been following a recipe from the mfg. for kittens but now wondering...

I recently had several kittens w/similar problem...major constipation! Also, brought to the vet. to help w/problem. Pumpkin works well but sometimes causes gas...you could try some Slippery Elm...can find in any good health/vitamin store.
