Hard to say, sometimes after applying the pain killer she goes right away to eating but other times she just ignores the food..

Thanks! I'll have to wait until Monday to make some calls but I've found a few different vets in my area. Today she seems to be eating a little more than yesterday but she's still hiding all day long.

It could be a behavioral problem. Perhaps it could be stress related? I too would try probiotics to see if that helps. Maybe try keeping the dog away from your kitty for a while and see if that helps too.
