Anyone has experience with nerve damage?

Aww thanks for the appetite-perk recommendations! I'll order some of Hartz Lickables if his appetite seems low when he's back home. All the best with your precious ones too! :redheartpump:

Anyone has experience with nerve damage?

His MRI came back negative for any physical signs of anything abnormal. So no tumours or lesions or masses anywhere. We're still waiting for his spinal fluids and blood work to come back. If he drinks independently, he can come home tomorrow!

    Two year old skittish cat.

My cat is also skittish and used to give me a wide berth even during play. Around 3 mths after he started staying with me I had him neutered, after which he caught a terrible cold. It might have been because he was feeling horrible, he started allowing me to pet him. From there he started...

Anyone has experience with nerve damage?

Hi guys... So my little boy is a 1 yr old neutered male FELV+. About 5 days ago I noticed he was more subdued than usual and not really playing as much. He was still affectionate, still eating and peeing and pooping normally. When I petted him I also checked his limbs, head and belly but he...

    Skittish Kirby

I've had Kirby for 1.5 months now. He was trapped as a stray when he was about 4 months old, found to be FELV+ and had lived at a shelter before I took him. Hes now close to 1 year old. It could be his personality or the trauma of being trapped but he's very skittish. He has opened up a bit...

    Hiss Highness

Hiss Highness Kirby and I have made progress over the month he's been here. He's still quite afraid of me and hisses even when I bring him his food. He's recently been introduced to a wand toy and he's slowly learning how to play!

    Welcome home, Kirby!

The poor dear has hurt his leg doing Lord knows what last night. It's probably a sprain. One good development is he's started using his litterbox. I've put all his things in my room (I'll be sleeping in the living room). He's got food, water, scratchpost, comfy bed, empty hidey box and...

    Welcome home, Kirby!

Thanks for the tip on DMG, I'll try to get some. At this point I'm just hoping he won't starve himself or get UTI out of fear! I adopted Kirby knowing he was most probably FELV positive, it was one of the reasons I wanted him. The shelter said everyone else passed on him when they heard of his...

    Welcome home, Kirby!

Thank you for the advice, I'll keep that in mind. Kirby isn't my first cat but he's my first scared cat. I've had cats and fosters before but they were all super friendly and confident from the get-go. He's had a really rough day, and so far he's ignoring food, treats, water and bed. He doesn't...

    Welcome home, Kirby!

Hi everyone! Kirby and I are new to TCS. I met Kirby at a shelter, and decided to adopt him. He just came home today, and he's still extremely scared. He's confined himself to the staircase and has yet to explore the rest of the house and all the amazing things I bought for him :ohwell: I...
