    Dandruff Problem

Thanks for the tip. I didn't realize the weight management foods were so little in those acids!

    Dandruff Problem

Waffle eats only dry food. Most of the time she has Purina One, though ocassionally we give her Iams. Generally I choose the indoor cat or weight management types. Thanks for the idea on the human version of salmon oil! We will definitely try that. Also a good idea to check for certain...

    Dandruff Problem

My Waffle seems to have a bit of a dandruff problem. Recently, my fiance and I did a bit of research on the causes and possible solutions and all we could turn up was that having Salmon Oil in the diet can help. I've been buying bottles of Alaskan Salmon Oil from Petsmart and mixing it into her...

    Daily Thread TGIF Oct 12

My last day working at the substance abuse inpatient rehab I've been a counselor at. I'll be moving over to the day treatment program to be a counselor there (it's in the same agency) on Monday. I'm feeling pretty sad about this actually. I've really enjoyed the clients and my coworkers have...

How did you meet your S.O.?

Matt and I met in 2004. I had been working as a Group Exercise Instructor at our university gym teaching muscle toning classes for about a year when he first started working there. My first memory of him was during his first semester teaching. I knew there was some new yoga instructor guy who...

What animals do you hear outside where you live?

Right now we live in an apartment that has a beautiful park, river, and woods as the backyard. The other night when we came home we actually saw an owl on a tree right next to our door. It was beautiful and was frequently making noise. Other than that we typically hear racoons, armadillo, frogs...

Sounds like a sitcom to me!

Very pretty area. I'm actually about to switch my positions within the agency. I've been working as a substance abuse counselor but as of Monday I'll be a day treatment counselor for our program that works with the severe and persistently mentally ill. I'm a little nervous about the switch!!!

Question of the Day - October 10th

I like to think that I respond better to stress than she does. Her coping with stress usually goes like this: stressful event/comment, short burst of a freak out - usually yelled, huff and puff around the house, calm down, solve problem. She's a great mom though so if that's her biggest fault...

Where is she living right now? It's always fun talking to other people who have a similar background professionally as you.

The " Gonna Be Wed " Thread!

Wow I remember when Amy started this thread! That was quite a while ago. Now that it's back in business though, I can actually add to it! It's so nice to see so many fellow brides-to-be on here. Congratulations everyone!!!! Our date is Sunday May 4, 2008 in Daytona Beach, FL. We're having...

Sounds like a sitcom to me!

That's not such a bad idea. I might just need to do some snooping! I can't even imagine what the client's who have just come in must be thinking!! I'm sure they never anticipated THIS!

Oh really?? Very cool. I love the work. It's challenging but I really don't think you can get a job that's more interesting. What population do you work with?
