This was quite a long time ago so i thought i’d post a final update. Bella’s tail was slightly bruised due to the incident which healed a week later. The vet recommended to trim the hair to reduce the weight a little to help the recovery which i did. Thanks to everyone who responded and helped 😊

Trying my best. If you zoom into the picture there seems to be an internal suture sticking out from the incision. The vet called it PDS. This is something thats very new to me because usually the incisions are left open. Would that be something causing the issue?
