I've been married 21 years to my husband whom I met while we were both serving in the United States Army. We have five fantastic kids ages 9-19. Growing up on a hobby farm with lots of pets, I have always been an animal lover. I love sharing my life with pets and have a particular fondness for felines. I have 8 cats in my life. Five are siblings Pippin, Ninja, Hero, Rye, and Ruby, with only one female in the bunch. Next comes Gus, who came out of the bushes to find us at the park. He was a limping, starving cat who is now probably our most people oriented cat of the bunch. Thomas (T.J.) is our youngest. He keeps everyone on their toes! And our last and final addition is Ava, a blind kitten we adopted after she was saved from euthanasia by a kind veterinarian. We have a busy household, for sure! And I love (almost! Ha!) every minute of it!
