    What do I do?

It takes some cats longer than others. If the other cat is still in the home that you are babysitting, sit in the floor with that cat and brush her/him so the other cat is watching.. Watching you interact with that cat will help Bea understand that he/she doesn't have to be so fearful. Bea...

    Blue wilderness Cat food

I have a question. I just got home from buying three large bag of Blue Wilderness -- Duck, Chicken and Salmon.  They are eating duck right now and love it.  I even did a test with Taste of the Wild in one bowl and the Blue Wilderness in the other.  Every single cat preferred the Blue.  So I...

    Cleo -- 16 years old

This is great.  Cleo now has to watch me mix the sheba in with her raw to eat it.......  She is so smart. However, since the raw is soupier than the sheba, she eats it all first.  Probably about  2 large tablespoons per serving and she gets three servings per day.

    Cleo -- 16 years old

she is eating her raw diet now with gusto. I am mixing 3/4 raw with 1/4 sheba.  I actually think her hair coat looks better after just two days. I am feeding her 3 times a day and she is eating approx 2.5 to 3 oz at each meal.

I might have to mix her half and half just to get her to eat..

    Cleo -- 16 years old

I made enough for three weeks.  It look awesome. I used my Ninja Optima blender and it pureed the meat perfect!!  It is a smooth texture -- like a fruit smoothie!! But she would not eat it.  she turned her little picky nose up at it.  To get her to eat it, I opened up a can of Sheba and poured...

    Cleo -- 16 years old

I have a cat named Cleo that is somewhere around 15-16 years old.  i got her in 2000 but she was already an adult cat..  She was feral and still is, but she  does really well with my husband and i.  We are her only people.  My kids have never seen her because she is invisible when people come to...

    Jimmy update!!!

I want to say too, that it was a very hard decision to open their enclosure and let them out.  It was very unnerving.  I didn't know what would happen to them.  Would they run away?  Could I get them back in the house or in the enclosure if I had to? All my fears were groundless.  It...

    Jimmy update!!!

Thank you Norachan!.  We do love our creek.  It is about 50' or so in front of our house.  We drive across the bedrock to get to the house, but there is a big drop-off on one side that we swim in when it's warm. And when the water is low enough, some of the cats jump from rock to rock to...

Friend of Ferals Award Badge - Apply Here

Norachan -- here a couple of pic of my enclosure that's already here in my photos. They are not restricted to being only in the enclosure.  It is their safety spot.  I keep a brick in the doorway and have the gate chained around the brick to keep big predators out.  It is truly a safe zone for...

    Jimmy update!!!

Thank you so much Many and Ruaryx!!  I am so incredibly glad that someone still gets some good out of reading about Jimmy and his ordeals as I went through  years of getting him to trust me.  He was and still is truly a miracle cat in my eyes.   It took him a long time to reach this point.  So...

    Jimmy update!!!

Here's a new pic of Jimmy taken last month.  He is doing great.  He loves me to pet him but won't let husband touch him at all. (STILL).  He purrs instantly when I wrap my arms around him.  He is totally into head butt under my chin.  When I leave, I have to quickly move away, because he tries...
