I tried raw without any success.he loved the raw pork, and chocken..but it didnt make any difference...still had loose smelly stools with blood...he was biopsied...and he has mild thickening in the intestine...so after trying raw with many premixes...for at least 5 months .i figured the problem...

My cat has episodes of colitis...I am feeding him raw becuase he does better with raw rather then cooked My cat can eat raw beef,,lamb,or pork but when I feed him raw rabbit he vomits up undigested food about 2 hours later..this does not happen with other protein sources I dont understand why...

thank you for your suggestion...Ive tried two other brands of protiotics for cats and unfortuantely they didnt help but Im willing keep on trying ...with Tummy works...thanks for your suggestion

Update : Had to take him off the raw.Couldnt solve the vomiting problem due to acidity.The constant vomiting affected his appetite...and I could tell he was miserable.Shes back on royal canin hypoallergenic temporaily which the vet wants her on Vomiting has stopped entirely since taking her off...

Hi Thank you for your advice.I am using egg shell as his source of calcium in his premix when I prepare home cooked food.I cook the rabbit by steamimg it and then I remove the meat from the rabbit.From this i add the premix which contains egg shell calcium and other nutrients like like taurine...

Hello Ive tried turkey,duck,venison,lamb,pork in their limited ingredient canned cooked versions and the results have always been the same unfortunately. I dont think its a protein problem ...I think its related to the cooking of the meat which cuases denaturation of the protein which in turn...

Thanks...I am using rabbbit bone broth...our other cat eats rabbit which we buy and then steam and then add add a premix to make our own cooked rabbit food ..so we use the leftover bones to make a broth...:)
