They all ran up to me asking for food 3 hours after I put the first van down and picked it up. I put down some salmon pate and they both seem to like it. I will try doing 4 wet meals a day since they don’t eat very much at one time.
I recently started feeding science diet because I reasoned that it’s a proven food with a lot of vet nutritionists on their team to back it up. I used to feed exclusively wet (ziwi peak) although at one point I switched to dry due to affordability. Is science diet a good dry?
Although I am hesitant to feed dry my cats are doing very well on the farmina wild boar and apple formula. While the carbs is 19% on a dry matter basis, the protein is 48% and the fat is 18%. I think 98% of the protein is from animal sources. Sweet potatoes seems to be the binder. I’ve been...
My fiv+ cat keeps getting upper respiratory infections; albeit, no severe symptoms. Just eye, nose discharge and congestion. Convenia really clears this up, so I’m assuming it is secondary infections causing his symptoms. Is it preferable to his health to get him treated with convenia every...
Alas, feeding wet is a lot harder than one would think, especially when they are used to kibble. I’ll keep trying but I bought fountains for them so I don’t feel too bad about feeding farmina prime varieties mainly
I finally made the decision to introduce wet because I know cats need proper moisture and a dry food can not supply that - I have 3 cats - I put down two 3 ounce cans of wet food a couple hours ago and they all ate a small amount over two or three times - there is probably half a 3 oz can left...
No that’s just what it said on the receipt apparently it’s something to help with congestion - he wasn’t running a fever - but he is a little congested with eye discharge - I thought he had an upper respiratory infection because he has gotten them in the past and he is FIV positive - other than...
Can anyone tell me what this PDS injection for my cat was; he had a upper respiratory infection and they gave him convenia and this injection for congestion - what is this?
One of my cats is fiv positive when I adopted him a couple years ago and seems to be getting chronic upper respiratory infections. Is there any thing I can do or give him to prevent this or help with congestion?
It’s been a long time since I’ve fed wet food and ive been feeding dry for the past few years. I have 3 adorable cats who are all sweet and mellow. I recently switched from Purina Pro Plan to the farmina wild boar and apple and wanted to know if this is the absolute best dry food I can feed...
