Taste of the Wild Prey - Turkey

There isn't ZooPlus here. It's good to know that Taste of the Wild is fine, and I'll check if I can find Almo in stores.

Taste of the Wild Prey - Turkey

I can use Little Big Paw or Lily's Kitchen or Brit Premium as part of the rotation in addition to the dry food. If I find that wet food is sustainable for me for the long run, I'll consider weaning my cats off the dry food.

Taste of the Wild Prey - Turkey

I have plans to try Brit Care pouches as they are low in peas and not as expensive as other wet food brands. Little Big Paw is good nutrition wise, but it is a bit expensive. There are some other options not found in online stores but only found in veterinary clinics here. The problem with...

Taste of the Wild Prey - Turkey

Unfortunately, there aren't many good options where I live (Lebanon). My cats are allergic to some types of food although I never got them officially tested. They are allergic to some Royal Canin ranges as well as barley containing food. I do know they are fine with chicken, turkey, pork, and...

Taste of the Wild Prey - Turkey

I can consider adding probiotics separately. Other than that, it's hard to find pea free and potato free food that has high protein and low carbs.

my cat seems to be in pain but vet tells me he his just a picky eater

I agree with the responses you got. I would like to add the possibility of your cat having gingivitis due to tartar buildup. Cats may stop eating if they are in pain due to gingivitis and this can appear as if the cat is being picky. Also, if it is starting to become warm where you live it could...

Taste of the Wild Prey - Turkey

Has anyone used this cat food for a long time? Do your cats do well on it? I'm thinking of using it as an add on since it doesn't contain potatoes or peas (which potentially impair taurine absorption (?) ) I think it will decrease my cats' intake of peas if used as a supplement, but as it...

Cassava Roots in Dry Cat Food... Good or Bad?

If your cat is healthy, I think you have the luxury to take some time to find a good cat food. It's really hard to find "THE ONE" and even if I did, my cat would get bored of it in a matter of months or a year. I decided to pick few good brands and alternate so that my cat will remain on...

Cassava Roots in Dry Cat Food... Good or Bad?

I'm considering switching to wet food in the future, but as for now my options are to feed dry.

Cassava Roots in Dry Cat Food... Good or Bad?

Thanks for sharing this lovely story. It's great that you found a cat food that's proving to be good for Casper and you feel comfortable with!

Cassava Roots in Dry Cat Food... Good or Bad?

Thank you for the suggestion; I will consider Purina Cat Chow. I really agree with the stand by option, and I already started thinking about few options. It will be cat food hunting time in the meantime!
