A cat can show the third eyelid when it is exceedingly comfortable & content, as well as when it has health issues. When that eyelid shows, it signifies a "place" they go to in their minds where they are comfortable, or more comfortable.... in my opinion.
Unless my browser failed to load...
The bellies look normal to me, given their age. I've had plenty of kittens born here and I'm pretty sure they all had thinly-furred bellies. Their belly areas all filled in as they got older. :)
It's been my experience that cats go in to heat two or three times per year. (Most research supports that.)
It's stressful in that they want to "remedy" those sexual urges.
Cats of the same sex will, often, try to "help each other out" when those urges arise and there are no other options...
Swheat Scoop is all natural. It clumps naturally, but I think, if a cat were to ingest it, it wouldn't stick to the cat's inners. That's why I use it for my cats, after extensive research.
In my experience (and being the animal psychic I am ;)), cats eat litter to help them push the waste...
In my opinion, food might be your strongest attraction to keeping Juno home. If you can afford to, get a healthy supply of canned fish (tuna, salmon, mackerel...) and keep it on hand. When Juno is home, give her some. Every time she comes home, give her some. She will, probably, decide that...
My guess is that the bleeding occurred because he was sneezing a lot. Dry air might be a contributing factor.
My 17-year old cat had some sneezing fits, recently, and started spraying blood out his nose (when he sneezed). I fed him well (natural, canned fish; raw freeze-dried dry food...)...
Why mix the canned foods with dry foods? Isn't that mixing flavors... perhaps too many at one time? I'd serve the wet food by itself and the dry food mixed with a little water, to moisten it. (My cats love dry food mixed with a little water -- it's not so dry in the mouth, easier to swallow...
You could suggest this forum as a means of getting ideas on cat care. (Of course, you might want to wait until your post, about her, is on page 37, or so. :p)
In a conversation with her, you could mention there are a lot of books on "natural cat care". I have some that have been very helpful...
I haven't purchased the Medallions yet, but my 17* year old cat (Buddy) prefers Stella & Chewy Morsels over all else (even canned fish). I hide it from the other cats... way to expensive to feed them all S&C. Sure wish I'd win the lottery! Buddy will sit by the cabinet where I keep it, even...
"Fighting" usually involves a lot of hissing, rumbling, squealing, staring down each other -- any or all, at once. "Playing" doesn't, though cats might rumble (wrestle), but they don't squeal while doing it, except for a momentary noise, perhaps. It's been my experience (in almost 20 years of...
My best guess is that Bandit drank, or ate, something poisonous. If the cats, playing on the patio (8:07-ish) looked normal (like Bandit wasn't suffering, then), I am guessing he ate, or drank, something in the next ten or fifteen minutes. Chemicals kill cats fast.
I wanted a bowl to soak...
