retired former airline quality control inspector/mechanic of aircraft maintenance at a major airline in Minnesota. I was taken out of work when I became disabled with polycystic kidney disease. I moved back home to the Northeast where I owned some land and built my home. I have basically been retired since I was 43.

After sitting on my butt for 5 years trying to figure what to do with myself, I got back into guitar and I now play with friends and perform locally at senior centers and a local bluegrass festival. I play and sing old country music (Johnny Cash, Merle Haggard, Patsy Cline, George Jones, Jimmy Fortune, and John Prine among the many songs I sing). I LOVE my Martin Guitars (I have 4). I learned the basics in my 20's but stopped playing when life got busy. I have been playing with earnest since 2004. I am looking to add a bass player to the 3-some I have now.
