Okay, I am late to the party here, but I "was" avidly following the introduction of Finn to Charlie,
but I have been offline for quite a while.
Last i knew, there were some spotty but questionable introductions, but, "seemed to be" going in the right direction.
and now,
i am like 5 pages of...
I am following this with interest, as I soon will be in your shoes, taking in a feral to be an indoor cat.
one thing you may want to consider, i don't know if this idea would help,
but, where i live? "Mobile vets" are a dime a dozen, (google your area for mobile veterinarians) and they do not...
 loving all the videos. More, more.
we all love those videos.
I am a page or two behind, but did love that Charlie goes to wake up Finn in the mornings!!:flail:
I like your ideas to remove things from his diet,
for now, until this diarrhea is ever gets solved?
That may make it easier to.find culprit... also maybe some probiotic. Just a few doses, I think probiotics self replicate...like weeds.
And maybe call vet .. I would. This is.....3? 4...
Also, if cats are actually IN a trap, covering trap with a sheet or towel or blanket (depending on temperature) will help the cat calm and become silent.
Cats calm down when they can not see anything...
Hope you find a way to keep them. Good luck.
But re: new cat Finn's weeks of ongoing diarrhea,:( I thought ShadowRescue 's idea of probiotics seemed well worth a try since Finn was recently on antibiotics... he very well might need his colon recolonized..? She mentioned she used 3 kinds until she found one that worked, maybe...

We have all been waiting for this! haha.:wavey:
WELL DONE AND CONGRATS!!!!!

Awesome,

@moxiewild
another tricks trainer! I too, use a clicker, but i have muffled it just a tad with a bit of tape on the metal part, to soften the noise just a bit, (most are wayyyy TOO loud)
and i use Temptations because that is kitty...
Oh, I lost the quote off my "clipboard" from you, Buffster, as you asked about Moki mostly going along with He can not be on keyboard...
Well, it is ongoing, but usually, if Moki does step on it?
One removal and Moki gives up.
However, Moki is a mature adult cat, and your little Finn is still...
My vote, (and do not hesitate to put my vote in last place if others disagree) is, to allow both cats observe you love both cats.
Why i say that ? would take 5 paragraphs to explain, but i say, go for it, and love on both cats in front of the other.
Again, if the smarter ones come along and...
^ Cat Daddy discusses if cats like music or not.
:)
:hijack:
@buffster, not sure if that short lil clip:lolup:will help you decide. I guess the others are right, that all cats are individuals...:clapcat:
I am no expert, but i do suggest it is debatable if cats truly enjoy music or not.
Some cat experts say that cats prefer silence.
Some say cats prefer the drone of a news channel on tv.
Some say cats prefer tape recordings of outdoor sounds. (bird chirps, etc)
Some say cats dislike the...
On Amazon Smile, there are tons of charity groups that we can 'donate' to, by using that "Amazon Smile" charity list instead of 'plain' amazon. Some portion of the money we spend on Amazon then goes towards that cause.
I notice there are TONS of animal causes listed on Amazon,
and I was...
