    We need some brain power!

I am not certain if they x rates or not as they were fairly certain the abcesses were from a cat fight. I will double check, thanks!

    We need some brain power!

Thank you so much for the links, I will read them all! I will try the warm pad, will just have to do a few temp checks to make certain he isn't getting warmer. He is in a super soft snuggle dog bed currently. Is the Royal canin much different than hills A/D? We are in A/D now as that is what...

    We need some brain power!

Thank you for your thoughts!! I am afraid if adding additional heat as he has been over 105, though I am sure you are right. He needs comfort and has to hurt, he is grossly underweight, just the pressure on his joints must be terrible. Classical music.... Love it! Will definitely add. Trying...

    We need some brain power!

Long story... We are emergency foster for an estimated 10 month old cat. He was brought to vet clinic as a street cat with severe wounds. Cat was found to have multiple abcesses with necrotic musculature. He had drains placed for a few days then sutures up and transferred here for at home...

    Spindle Cell Sarcoma

I do t have experience with this cancer in cats, but I have tons of experience with it in dogs. My heart dog has battled this on his sciatic nerve 5x since 2012. He was 4 when first diagnosed. He did a full radiation course after the first mass removal, it came back 1 year later, did a full...

    The Mystery That Is Fender

They didn’t see anything on the surface, so they removed any teeth that they thought could be an issue based on x rays and if there was any play/movement. After that he seemed better so when it hit in spring they did more dental work. He’s lost 11 teeth now. The rest of the cats that he came...

    The Mystery That Is Fender

My head is spinning, trying to sort some things out. Our team of vets are grasping at straws. Fender was taken in as a fairly feral cat, never had vet catr. Believed to be in the 5 year ball park. He had a nasty delayed reaction to his neuter which led to extra surgery and a week long...

    Feeding Tube Update

The coop. This thing has windows on multiple sides and doors everywhere so I can access him even when he does not want to go. Also can slide the door shut to the house to lock him in. Now he has toys and climbers in it.

    Feeding Tube Update

    Anorexia, Getting Feeding Tube

Thank you so much! Did you have other cats when they had their tube? I'm terrified my youngest foster (6 months) will be a devil about playing and attempting to attack the tube. AD surprisingly was one food he wouldn't even attempt. The vet wants to switch him to the hydrolyzed food and says...
