    Systemic Lupus Erythematosus (sle)

My adoptee from a nearby animal shelter last year has had one problem after another. Her most major problem has been this hairloss and horrific rash on her skin. I was told by a veterinarian that is was Feline Herpese Dermatitis thus no treatment and she would just look that way. However after...

I do myself but wanted to bring that information to the table for those who weren’t aware :) I don’t use anything with the word byproduct behind it (except for with my rescue Girl right now which I explained) Either spell out liver spleen kidney tripe etc or don’t use it period

Is Pure Wet Always Better Than Dry?

I am a major raw advocate I feed my dogs raw. I would feed my cat montieque raw but he flat out refuses to touch the stuff, to much wet food gives him the runs, so he eats a half dry half wet diet. I rotate dry brands, Fromm, Orijen, Acana, EVO, Natures Variety, Blue Buffalo (rare because it...

Is Pure Wet Always Better Than Dry?

Actually In most cases low quality canned food will have around the same or less amount of carbs than high end dry food. So nutrient profile wise (not ingredient) low end canned food is the same as the average “high end” dry.

Is Pure Wet Always Better Than Dry?

Person above me is right And the only nutritional difference between a Kitten and adult cat is the amount of calories and fat. You can feed adult cat food to a Kitten without issues they may just need to eat a little more but not always. A good brand to try is Nutro if you’re wanting to stay...

Cats Refusing To Eat The Healthier Wet Food

Have you considered changing the flavor? Personally not many animals I know like venison flavored things kind of weird you think they would but they don’t my Raw fed dogs are even super picky about it. Maybe consider switching to a white meat as naturally cast eat a half red half white...

    Ingredients

Unlike dogs, cats are not opportunistic carnivores, dogs will occasionally eat seasonal vegetation/fruits as a so called snack. Especially if it’s sweet however cats do not possess the ability to taste sweet things. Also Cats have a strictly carnivores digestive track unlike dogs who are able...

    Update On Penelope

Took Penelope to the vet today. Turns out she has a fractured pelvis, not to worry though they heal on their own without any complications 90% of the time and the X-ray showed good healing process already. Also had her checked for a spay scar she had one, so I’m glad we did before the other...

Adopting My First Cat...pls Help Me Out Planning Her Diet!

Orijen is the holy grail of dry of and cat food. However they only make a dry food for Cats. The company doesn’t make any wet food, however does make freeze dried dog food which when rehydrated turns into a wet food type slurry. But they don’t make that for Cats. Primal is another good brand
