    Anyone else only have one?

I was JUST thinking this! I've always had dogs. Never cared to have a cat until I got one. Now I have to be careful not to show the cat too much love that the dogs get jealous. He's just so cute! Such a little snuggle bug!!! I'm absolutely enamored.

    Off to a GREAT start!

They're great buddies now! Roscoe is only 2 (he's the younger dog), and Kaia is 10. She'll play with him sometimes, but tires easily. Now that he has Chester, he has a playmate just as rambunctious as he is! Although Chester did give Roscoe a boo boo on his nose the other day while playing. At...

My boy is missing and I am horribly worried

This is the type I'm using too. He just hates it. He looks like a circus performer with the contortions he does trying to, and succeeding in, escaping it. I was thinking of returning it and trying the type that just straps around the shoulders. It looks less secure though, but I thought maybe...

My boy is missing and I am horribly worried

This happened to me the other day. My daughter called me at work. Apparently the cat had gotten out when she walked the dogs. She didn't notice and went online to do her schooling. When finished with lessons she went to look for him and couldn't find him. I came rushing home from work. He's not...

    Anyone else only have one?

This is my first cat ever. 3 weeks in with dogs who've never been around cats and tended to chase them when seen outside....guess who owns this house now? Hint...not either dog! Poor Roscoe got a little boo boo on his nose from trying to play with. Chester when he was feeling frisky. After...

    First Time Cat Mom

I was told to keep him on a maintenance dose of 250mg twice daily after this goes away (he's on twice that now, plus some heavy antibiotic eye drops and oral amoxicillin). His case was so bad, I just don't want to take any chances. Plus, he has 1 "weird" eye anyways. It's smaller, and all...

    Anyone else only have one?

It's so funny how animals really are just like people. Some are social and love to be in groups, others prefer to be alone, while others prefer company of other species.

    New kitty mom NERVOUS~eye/possible URI

So happy to report that Chester seems to be making a full recovery. He has been a real character today...getting into all kinds of trouble. I wish she (the vet) would have started him on oral antibiotics sooner. Maybe we could have averted that awful period where I was afraid he was going to die...

    First Time Cat Mom

It was so scary! Have you had any other flare ups? I know they can have recurrences, mostly when they get stressed. I'm trying super hard to keep his routine perfectly...because I do not want to go through this again. I felt so bad for him. He got so sick, he was lethargic to the point he...

    Anyone else only have one?

I think they do kind of understand that the chasing game is only for outdoors. My older dog, who after only 2 weeks with the cat, now snuggles up to sleep with him every night, used to be the WORST cat chaser. The only incident we've had was when the cat got a bit too close to the dog's food...
