Anyone know what this is? This poor cat has had so many other issues. Calicivirus, a fungal infection, ring worm (She was adopted a few months ago)
Is this asthma? Coughing? Hairball?
She was playing with her brother before hand.
Any insight is appreciated. If not it's off to the vet again...
Both of my cats have calicivirus. One was able to fight it off and has been fine ever since.
The other has tried doxycycline for 2 weeks and no go. Now she has conjuctivutus. They gave her a shot of convenia about 10 days ago but she still has constant gunk in her eyes and a sneeze. I give her...
She finished the meds, 14 days. She never fully got rid of the sneeze but it was less then now. She's had 2 sneezing fits today but it seemed to calm down in the last few hours. I can't figure it out!
My one cat was diagnosed with calicivirus and the vet said it's 99 percent likely they both have it. He gave me meds to treat both cats (doxycyclne for 14 days).
Recently one of my cats has been sneezing. I'm talking about 20 times or more a day today.
I made a vet appointment for tomorrow but...
They're eating like little piggies and they're playing like crazy cats so I'm hoping those are signs of a full recovery coming. Send some prayers to my little ones.
Yes both have all other vaccines. I only had them about 2 months or so and it took me that long to get them to see a vet for a normal check up. Every vet in the area was booked months out. The times they got sick I had brought them to an emergency vet.
Would vaccinating them for this now make...
The first cat was sneezing and had yellow discharge coming from her eyes. The second cat had a fever which caused sores In his mouth. He didn't want to eat and was inactive. He's a very active cat so I took him to the vet right away. They're both about 8 to 9 months now.
I found out both of my cats have calicivirus. The vet wasn't the best at explaining the severity of it and even Google is a bit cloudy.
Right now they are both on doxycycline. They're both eating and active. They also get lysine 2 times a day as per the vets request.
Is there any other...
I just noticed this on my cat today. No idea where she got it from. She plays with her brother but they never get too aggressive. My fiance says scratches that ear more than normal. Is it allergies?
Nutritional yeast, very interesting. I will give that a try for sure. Yeah I brought my guy to the vet a few days ago and he as healthy as can be. He's just a pain lol. Thanks for the tip.
