Helping my kitten keep his voice

Hi @aarond...would you be able to tell us how long do Rodger and Pierre play with each other, together, right now.? To stop Rodger from biting you, ...you're going to have to only play with him using cat toys, toy wands, long flat material/ flat material straps/belt/thick rope, ping pong balls...

    Cat intros at a standstill

It's interesting, because to me they look like major improvements, but I guess when you are in the midst of the cat-intros,...then they feel like immensely slow. So the kitchen is the best place in the house, in K's opinion...besides her place in the sun, I suppose. It's true that it's kind of...

    Cat intros at a standstill

I forgot about the nightmares, too. The cats start mumbling, murmuring, and softly growling in their sleep, and their legs are sometimes twitching like running. It is suddenly surprising, when everything is quiet, and suddenly I hear this. But yeah, they know it's a dream, because they don't...

Seeing Echoes or Double Avatars while using Quote feature

This is the extra script that I see, and then just go in and take it out. (like @Lari did before) Screenshot of extra script. (ETA: I think I need some more coffee....since I'm not sure what I'm seeing anymore. @AbbysMom ):drinking:

Seeing Echoes or Double Avatars while using Quote feature

When you hit quote at the bottom of page, the above is what you get. Only when I "highlight" certain parts of a post, and then hit the "quote" pop up.

Seeing Echoes or Double Avatars while using Quote feature

It's only when I highlight and then hit 'quote'. Like above.

Seeing Echoes or Double Avatars while using Quote feature

Sorry, I was just trying to see if I could get some more 'screenshots' and show what the extra script looks like. Only happens when I quote someone who is "tagged" with the @ symbol....or photos. @AbbysMom Yes, i still see it, ....just this past Wednesday.

    Cat intros at a standstill

It's so natural to be worried about things beforehand, but I find with our cats, that sometimes half the stuff we worry about doesn't actually happen, or happens in a way that we cannot predict, so it's just better to tackle things as they happen. I understand that it is good to be prepared...

    Cat intros at a standstill

I was thinking the exact same thing, ...about how the "how to youtube videos" always seem to have the most docile, easy-going, relaxed cats that I've ever seen. There was one, where I did actually hear the cat growl, and the cat belonged to a Vet, but was being given medicine by the Vet tech...

    Sticky Situation

That actually sounds pretty good. It's interesting how in many cat-intros, the cats always seem to do their 'one lap around the perimeter of the room' and then just lay down, and yeah...'wait to go back out again'. It's almost like they do the one-time smell around, take the new scents in, but...

    Sticky Situation

No, actually, the only reason I said a sheet, was because it is lighter, weighs less, so I figured it wouldn't tumble the gate over. But let's now go with your idea, since it makes better sense.  (Hmm...maybe we'll have to revisit the 'blanket idea'...since having the cats not...

    Cat intros at a standstill

Exactly. The hardest part is trying to get our cats to understand and abide by the rules. I don't think cats have the word "abide" in their cat dictionary. What you said before, is so true. You have to get them to think it was all 'their idea', and encourage that behaviour. Yes, I think...

    Mammary Tumors

@MoxZig ...I read through your thread, and it left me with tears, but not just the sad type of tears, because you had to let go and help your dear cat Moxie cross, but also hopeful tears,...because people like you exist in this world. :rbheart: You had to make such difficult decisions for you...

    Sticky Situation

Yes, it sounds like Coraline is still very upset and nervous of these 'intruders'. Cat intros are never really straight-forward, or progress forward in stages like we humans might want, or think. They rather go into what seems like steps forward, and then pauses...or more time for...
