I'm so sorry about your cat friend. That is just awful. :( I've had 7 cats in my life so far and they all have been indoor only. They are very happy and they don't even try to get outside. On my drive to work I see cats dead on the road almost everyday. I would never let a cat outside unless it...
Awww, Bruce is so adorable! I'm so happy that it working out for you! I really think that some cats enjoy going to new places as long as it's a safe pleasurable experience, which in your case it is. Like I said in a previous post, my boyfriends cat loves her trip to my house and lately he's been...
That's what I was thinking when I was reading this thread! I find it extremely hard to believe that a little 5 pound cat on carpet would sound like people stomping around,
I think trying a larger litter box may help too. Also, what kind of litter are you using? I'm sorry if you already told us but I couldn't seem to find it. I'm sure she will grow out of her enthusiastic litter box romping but I bet it's a nightmare to deal with now!

It probably depends on the cat and how well it likes to be in a carrier. My boyfriend adopted a 7 month old cat in October and he brings her when he stays at my house which is almost every weekend. It's about an hour and a half drive and she does great. She even gets excited and starts zooming...
Awww, Mingle is adorable! My first cat, Casey, was really small too. She was full grown at about a year old and she weighed about 6 pounds her entire life. Like was already said, some kitties are just smaller.
The first cat I ever had was found as a stray and was approximately 7-8 weeks old. She was my only cat for several years and she did perfectly fine. Yes, sometimes cats do better in pairs but I don't believe that should deter you from getting this kitten. It sounds like she needs a good home...
