    Cat burping, looking uncomfortable

Thank you, yes I did explain that to the vet, but my original description here may have not been complete. After not having chicken, she seems to burp less, she doesn't not burp at all, but the symptoms seem to ease slightly. Chicken treats - yes she still burps.

    Cat burping, looking uncomfortable

Thank you for your interesting reply. Your idea of indigestion is interesting, I will mention this to the vet. The texture of the pure chicken, is shredded human quality chicken in a small amount of chicken broth. The "soups" are more a high quality thick soup with pieces of chicken (or...

    Cat burping, looking uncomfortable

We have a neutered female British Blue Shorthair, age 3.5, indoor-only cat. No other pets - just myself & my wife. Over the past year, we have noticed that she is regularly burping about 15mins after eating. She also burps occasionally just before her next mealtime. We can often hear her...

Introducing new cat litter after a failure

Greetings from Scotland! British Blue Shorthair neutered female 3 years old, indoor only. We have a litterbox in the downstairs hall way & upstairs in the cat playroom. From a kitten, Coojee has been using a clumping litter made of Natural White Bentonite by Sanicat. (Active White Lotus Flower...

    Urine pH slightly high

The urine tests have indicated a bacteria infection. I will visit the vet shortly, to collect anti-biotics.

    Urine pH slightly high

Thank you Coojee really loves Salmon which we gently poach for her. It's farmed, but we do have concerns with the medications used in fish farms. I'll feedback what happens with the tests & vet.

    Urine pH slightly high

Perfectly willing to change her diet. In fact we were just discussing cooking her some fish for lunch instead of kibbles. But I was also considering changing her evening snack from dehydrated to kibbles as the kibbles have some fish oil & are not entirely dry. Maybe not a good idea? Weeing is...

    Urine pH slightly high

I may have typed something from, but it's slightly high pH (not low). We've only looked at urine as that was the first step when we discussed it last November. The next step of course is an examination which I expect the vet will want to do once the tests are in. Thinking about your reply, I...

    Urine pH slightly high

2.5 years old Britush Blue Shorthair female, neutered, indoor-only. No other pets, 2 litter trays. Alergy to strong perfumes (so we don't use any). Eats enthusiastically, weight is fine according to our last checkup. Does not seem to be in pain when weeing. On & off over the past 2 months...
