Thank you all! I will look into the collidal silver and/or a vet dermatologist. All the vet said was it doesnt look like ringworm..ugh! Have any of you used miconahex+triz wipes? I just ordered this for Benny and hoping it works.

My vet just prescribed Revolution to possibly treat a fungal skin infection and I am worried about the side effects of both. He doesn't seem to have any visible fleas or mites and I am wondering if the pros outweigh the cons. Advise is helpful! Thanks!

Yes they are flat spots, not crusty at all. I have used anti-fungal cream on him too at the advice of another vet but that hasnt helped either :-) But yes, it seems as if I may need to take him in again. Thank you!

Thank you again! I have looked at Pet and Web MD and sadly none of these pics look like what Benny is experiencing. This is a better picture of the spot on his neck which seems to now also be on his nose.

Thank you so much, at times I feel the vet doesn't always take the time to look at all the issues. The first vet we took him to said it was ringworm and the next one said dermatitis because they did the UV test for ringworm and it came back negative.

As of last Friday, I switched his food to a Limited Ingredient diet as I am not sure what else to do for him :(

Thank you so much! Its so confusing, since the roommates cat seems to have no issues now at all but my poor Benny still is showing issues of this confusing skin condition. The vet tested him via a uv light but not skin scraping. Its so frustrating when vets don't do everything they should be doing.
