How Do You Guys Cut The Soft-gel In Fish Oil?

I snip one of the tips with a little pair of scissors and squeeze the oil out of the capsule.

    Fluke Worm - Advice

Thank you. Yes, I saw that thread and we have given the two medications recommended for Flukes. That thread is the reason that I'm concerned that we might not be giving a strong enough dose. Neither cat has gone #2 since their loose stools on Saturday night so I'm waiting to see if they still...

    Fluke Worm - Advice

I'm having a parasite problem. Both of my cats have tested positive for Fluke Worms. I'm a raw feeder & I'm pretty sure the parasite came from a batch of lamb brains that I ordered from Raw Feeding Miami. I'll never know for sure but that's my gut feeling. To be on the safe side, I have thrown...

Do Cats Mind A Messy House?

My cats have forced me to keep a clean house. I did used to be quite a mess when I was in in my 20s. If I leave clothes on the ground, one of my cats (who recently passed away) would always pee on them so I've learned to always put clothes away. My new kitten will pee on any blanket that is...

Pet Insurance And Pre-existing Conditions - Confused...

No, unfortunately if the symptoms are there prior to getting insurance or during the probation period it is considered preexisting & will not be covered. I have had a better experience with pet insurance than the above posters and I'll explain it here: I first got pet insurance in 2014. When...

    Cat Backpack

I dont think it would kill him for just vet visits lol BUT it doesn't look ideal for a cat. Most cats do not like to be that exposed. They like to feel a little bit hidden. Is there a different backpack pet carrier that is made of mesh instead of plastic so it isnt that see-through?

    Blinds And Cat Safety?

I leave the bottom of the blinds open a tad bit so my cats can see out the window without messing them up. Here is a pic for reference: Then, I got some super cheap Blind Cord Wraps from Amazon & wrapped all the blind cords in my house to the top of the window. Like this:

How Did Your Vet React To Raw Feeding?

@MargoLane great update! Not all traditional vets will shame the raw feeders, which is a positive thing. I hope your girl feels better soon

    Olive’s First Raw Chicken Wing

I love that! :) When I first started my cats on prey model, I started out with quail. The wings are quite a bit smaller and easier to chew. They were able to eat the entire quail, head included (Not all in one sitting). No bone was too big. By the time I moved on to chicken wings, they knew...
