Well, glad I got my long walk in yesterday. We've got 20 cm of snow here so far today and it's still coming down.

Shoveled snow of the path and deck twice and did an hour of yoga. There will be more shoveling to come, I feel.

It's currently cold and icy here too. But it's going to warm up above freezing later today, so maybe a walk this afternoon.

It got a bit warmer near the end of last week, so I had a couple more long muddy walks. I can't remember what I did on which day, but it was at least two walks followed by 30 minutes yoga and two 90 minute yoga practices on the other days.

I had a load of chores to do and errands to run today, so my only exercise has been about 30 minutes walk between the bus stop, post office and super market. Better than nothing I guess

I went for a 30 minute walk a few days ago, but nothing since. And it's rainy today, so probably won't get out to walk. Tomorrow hopefully.

Our weather is starting to feel like spring! It's above freezing during the day now, so that's making life much more pleasant.

:cloud9:

Some Olympic level cleaning then one hour of yoga on Tuesday.
90 minute walk and 30 minutes of yoga yesterday.
Today I have to go and buy lumber to fix the holes in the enclosure fence where the boar broke in so....weight lifting? Buying lumber counts as weight lifting, I think.

I spent two days working on my fence and got the boar hole fixed, but there are a lot of other places that need repairing. The cats can't get out, but if we get a storm it could be a bit dangerous. I guess that's going to be my on-going spring project.

Not many walks, but yoga every day for the past week. Going to Tokyo to look around some galleries tomorrow so I'll be on my feet all day. How's everyone else doing?

I am still walking, but have gotten lax about writing it down. Last week, I felt so crappy pretty much all week (dizzy and so tired almost every day) and barely got 25 miles in. I'm doing much better this week. I'll try to be more consistent about recording.

I went to Stroller strides on Tuesday and took a walk with J yesterday, but it's getting pretty hard for me to move around at this point, so neither was anywhere near top form.

70 minutes of shoveling snow today. So got my cardio and upper body workout. Yay me, I guess.

I'm back!

I had a great time in Tokyo last week, but then I caught a cold so I didn't do much exercise since March 5th. I don't know if it's the 2 years of self imposed exile weakening my resistance, or the combination of having a cold and pollen allergies, but I've been breathless all week.

Back to normal now though. I walked for an hour and did 30 minutes stretching yesterday, 90 minutes yoga today.

Right now getting up off the couch feels like exercise.

Still trying to do stroller strides once a week. Walk to church and music class if the weather isn't terrible.

Sunday and Monday I did 90 minutes of yoga. Tuesday and Wednesday I spent about two hours outside working on my enclosure fence. It's a long job as I haven't done any repairs for a few years, but hopefully this version is going to stand up to the battering our weather gives it much better than earlier versions did.

Aiming for an hour of yoga and more fence repairs today.

I've gotten out of the walking habit, and now it's hard to get motivated again.
Wish I had someone to walk with me. Maybe I need to get Ruby a harness and leash. :winkcat:

This was the tag on my red raspberry leaf tea yesterday and about how I feel. Though I did walk J to the park yesterday.

I used to take Little Boy for walks up and down the lane when he got up to nearly 9 kilos and I was trying to help him lose weight. (Now almost down to 7 kilos! Go Little Boy!)

It's not great exercise walking a cat, because a lot of their walking time is spent staring at things. However, I did have to carry LB back up the steep hill, so that was good for upper body strength and cardiovascular.

;)

45 minutes walk and 2 hours fencing today.
