Sounds like a coffee candy
Hee hee. I know, my coffee is like a dessert! Hard to believe I used to drink it black not long ago.

Dad forgot to remind me about daylight savings time and I lost an hour of my morning. So annoying! Nobody is talking about it for some reason, usually everybody is complaining, so that's probably why I forgot.

2TB Cinnamon Dolce Syrup, 3TB Maxwell House International Vanilla Cappuccino Powder finished it up, 2Tsp Maxwell House Decaf Instant Coffee, in a cup of Great Value Whole Milk.

This syrup isn't very sweet. Maybe I should use more. But I used 2 Tablespoons!

I had my usual dark roast black this morning. Then we went out to lunch at a diner someone recommended and I had 3 cups of coffee. We discovered a cute coffee shop nearby and wanted to check it out so I had a cortado. I probably didn't need the extra caffeine because I feel like bouncing off the walls. :hyper:

This morning my cup of drip Essentials Brand coffee and a cup of Keurig. I just picked up some Peace brand medium roasted coffee to try tomorrow. I have always bought a light roast Breakfast blend coffee and tried theirs, but it was too light and tasteless so I thought I would try their medium roast.

The winner of this morning coffee wars - $7 a pound Essentials coffee vs $17 a pound (didn’t buy that much) locally roasted Peace coffee - is still Essentials brand! Wasn’t even close. While I may try other coffees if I can purchase small quantities to try, for now Essentials is it.

Wow. 5 coffees?!!! Nice! Did you get free refills on the 3?

Finally finished up the decaf instant coffee. Funny because mom said she wished she had some decaf instant coffee and here I was trying to use up the one she left here. Ha! Should have given it to her. Now I have Nescafe Dark Roast instant coffee. I wanted espresso, but Walmart didn't have it. Dollar General did though, so I will get that when this is almost gone. Price Chopper also had a different espresso, but it was only 2oz. Drinking it with Cinnamon Dolce Syrup, Folgers vanilla cappuccino powder, Great Value 2% milk.

Yes, not only did I get free refills from the really nice waitress but I fell in love with their cinnamon raisin toast and she told me if I give them one day's notice I could buy a loaf at their cost. Whenever I go out to eat and order coffee I can't stop myself from getting free refills. I should have stopped though since the cortado at the coffee shop around the corner put me over the edge.

Dark roast black coffee twice today.

Okay, so I am still obsessing over coffee and coffee makers. I decided that before I put away the Keurig altogether I need to try reusable cups for it. I used to use reusable pods for my old Keurig but the new one take different pods. So a few on order and we will see how well they work. Washing out reusable pods is a pain but we will see.

Sure thing! I also went through a Cafe Bustelo phase that had me bouncing off the walls! I also recall my folks taking me to the Midtown NYC Chock Full o‘ Nuts, watching them drink coffee, and informing me seriously: “Jackie Robinson used to work here.” I remember thinking to myself: “So, OK, it must be really good coffee if Jackie Robinson used to work here!” Coffee always seemed like such a sophisticated thing to me as a kid.
