Did you try going to the Purina web site and looking at the one you specifically got? They do have a pdf download option on the nutrition section for each food that has the calories listed at the bottom of the file. I'd have looked it up for you but wasn't sure which one you were talking about.

I looked at their calculator site but it didn’t include it. The other site listing said 56g if feeding kibble only for a 5kg cat. It still didn’t list calories. The food is the Pro Plan Weight Loss.

Yeah, the web site is quite a bit different from the US one, and that particular food you are looking at is not even offered here. I was hoping they were using a standardized web site set up but guess not. Sorry about that.

Not to worry!

ETA I just emailed them asking what the calorie count for a 56g daily allowance is.

Is it impossible to even look at the Chewy website there? I've only tried to look at the UK Amazon, so I suppose that shouldn't surprise me. I've given the addy for it below. If you can't access the site, let me know and I'll stop suggesting sites you can only get in the US to people. Perhaps they have to pay more to let others see the sites out of country. It seemed like such a good research item, which is what I thought the net was about. Silly me.

Well, that's easier to work with. I did find the food on the Chewy site and it gives the calories as 437 per cup. So, I looked up how many grams in a cup of dry ingredients and found that it's 128.

I've put the addy for the Pro Plan at chewy below. I wonder if you'll be able to see it. If you can, click on the Nutritional label below the picture, at the bottom of that it gives the calories.

Oh no, I looked at the Chewy site but it didn’t list the Weight Loss food at all. That’s not the same as the Weight Management food.

Well, the Pro Plan Weight Loss arrived yesterday (after a near muck-up with the courier that I described here). I’m trying their suggested method of introducing it, ie putting a few bits on a plate next to her usual food, rather than mixing them. Breakfast was good, she ate both! Let’s see if this works over the coming weeks.

I like the look of the Pro Plan kibble, it‘s really small and has holes in the middle, like tiny, tiny donuts.
