Hello all! I was doing some research today trying to find out if my kitty was any specific breed and it lead me to this forum so I thought I'd see if anyone could help identifying her. I have had her for a year (not sure how old she is) but she is the sweetest kitty I have ever owned! She's so laid back and as you can tell she gets along great with my dogs. Anyways, my husband seems to think she might be a Ragamitten, and I think she is an American Long Haired bicolor (I know that ALH isn't actually a breed). She has the prettiest green eyes and they seem to be more almond shaped rather than round (not sure if that is distinctive with any breeds?). She has all white paws, which is one of the reasons my husband thought she might be a Ragamitten. She is a lot bigger than any other cat that I've owned (bigger than all of my dogs!) and her coat is sooo soft, everyone who meets her comments on it.
Thank you in advance for any comments here!

Coloring wise she seems to be a calico; as she has three colors: black, red, white, and colors not mettled with each other.
Green eyes are relatively common with torties / torbies.... Why, I dont know, but there seems to be some statistical connection...

If she is visibly biggish, we may guess she may have some Ancestry... Norwegian or Maine Coon??

So, she is to be described as domestic long hair, calico in coloring and pattern;

and she is a decent look alike to a Norwegian Forest Cat, possibly even has some Ancestry...

I'll have to find another photo to post to show her colors better because she's actually only two colors, grey and white.

OK!
So greenish eyes because she is calico falls... Still, its not forbidden to be green eyed, even if its not common. :)

Quite a many Norwgians are bicolors... Its no proof, but very useful for a bi-color wanna be look alike. :)
