Hello,
My male kitten (9months) pants rather easily. Playing with him for ~10 minutes, him chasing a feather on a string, causes him to pant already and than he needs to cool off. Another example, when hes running around with his kitten sister. I do realize he is sort of thick coated. (European Tiger cat) But how could I make the most of his play time, without him panting so often ? I even make him take breaks inbetween, the room is rather cool as well. Neither of my other two cats pant with the same amount of play

Not much you can do except giving wet food for moisture and lots of water bowls.sounds like a very active kitty!
Yup they only eat wet food and drink every 1-2 days. Hes a jumper, jumps extremely high

My cat peaches was a very tiny 5 week kitten 2.5 pds and very active. So she would pant alot. A runner but couldn't even jump over my legs! She would wiggle her little booty and jump a half a centimeter to catch a wand toy

No. She does sometimes play by herself and is more affectionate. Any pictures? She is queen over me and my 2 cats

All you can do is monitor the panting, to see if it gets worse or better. Unless there is an extraordinary difference between his fur coat and the other cats, it might not be the cause. Giving him a cooling pad might be another option to see if that helps any.

Drinking every 1-2 day seems a bit odd too. Most cats will drink multiple times a day, even when on wet food. Maybe he is drinking less than the other cats? Since you have multiple cats, several water dishes - cleaned and replenished at least twice a day - is recommended.

If they eat mostly wet he wont drink much

I'd agree with others that some cats just give more into play and get warmer easier. I could get my boy to pant level exertion most days during a play session but never my girl because he threw his whole self into the play. Monitor it for sure and give him breaks when he gets there.

I would also do a vet appointment just to make sure there isn't some underlying health reason for it. But I tend towards paranoid about things.

It does get better after some coolin down
He is short haired like the others, hes just sort of thick skinned? We also have cooling pads he uses. I thought drinkin every 1 to 2 days is normal tbh, we have several water dishes all over the apartment + a water fountain, perhaps I dont notice it much, he likes to drink by dunking his paw and lickin it OR when I specifically come to him w the bowl and offer it.

Thats exactly what happens! My female kitten waits to play till he is exhausted and starts then.

Its just I understand he pants easier because he jumps to my shoulder height, runs very fast and is thick coated but I was wondering if I could help him out somehow, but it seems to be just that huh~

It sounds like he just gets very excited when playing and puts his whole self into it. He is probably fine! He is gorgeous!
