Good morning and a Happy Chilly Whiskers Wednesday from my corner of the world! :coldcat:

My husband picked up three kinds of cheese for a pasta casserole I'll be making this week. I may even decided to make it today since it's one of our go-to comfort meals and would be perfect on this cold and windy day. My favorite types of cheese are: goat cheese, swiss, brie, ricotta, provolone, havarti, parmesan and mozzarella. DH prefers: cheddar, colby, gruyere, monterey jack, gouda and also swiss. Our youngest loves cheese of any kind. How about you?

WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE TYPE OF CHEESE(S)? 🧀

All cheese! I can’t think of one that I don’t like. I could be more cheese educated though.

Lately I’ve been putting an aged Vermont white cheddar on sandwiches. Sometimes I get Harvati or Gouda since they can be in sliced form now. Feta is *chefs kiss.* A local place sells these containers of cheese ends cut into bites. Its amazing! They aren’t the fanciest cheeses; but you still get some with peppers, some with herbs, some smoked, etc. So yummy!!

My mom brought over some cheese with apricots and cranberries in them and we made a mini chartreuse plate instead of board. I’ve been thinking about that for weeks!

Cheese really should be its own food group.:smash:

I like most real cheeses. It depends on what I am using it for. Sharp Cheddar is my favorite for snacking. I mix a sharp cheddar with a good melting cheese like Monterey Jack for Macaroni and cheese. For Italian American pasta casseroles, I use Mozzarella and Ricotta. Cheese is one of my real downfalls when it comes to watching the fat and calories.

Tasty cheese for me! I haven’t tried many varieties and don’t go for soft cheese. I like Parmesan when it’s sprinkled on spaghetti bolognese but haven’t had it for years (I don’t eat out these days). But a thick slice of tasty cheese, yum.
