I had falafel with cauliflower, broccoli and carrots. DH tried the TJ's lasagna and said it was pretty good. I suggested keeping some frozen items in the house for easy, last minute dinners and he actually took my advice. Honeycrisp apple for dessert.

The weather has turned chillier here so DH asked if I would make a roast and that way he would have leftovers during the week. So I bought an eye of round roast and will make onion roasted potatoes too. If I have the time I may make cornbread to go with it. Not sure what I'll be having but I always find something depending on my appetite.

I will probably have a lean cuisine. I have had a couple in the freezer for a few months. I need to eat it, or throw it out, soon. Plus, I need some freezer space.

It is probably our last warm day for year. It is 74 degrees, with a low of 54 degrees predicted for tonight. Warm!! I had the AC on earlier. I still have the fan on, in the bedroom, and in the kitchen. No cooking today.. easy stuff.

Then, we will get some more rain, Sunday morning, with the temps really dropping into the 40's... ugh..

While we were down in Camp Hill at TJ's, we stopped at Primanti Brothers for sandwiches for a late lunch. Rick has been wanting to go there ever since we saw a restaurant/pub when we were in Pittsburgh a couple years ago. When he saw the place in Camp Hill, he wanted to try it out. Not bad! I had a Reuben and he had a burger that was sky-high. Good food. Almost Famous, Always A Favorite. Since 1933!

We had our last warm day, and today it was 33 and snowing. Last Saturday it was in the 70's!
Tonight I had some cheesy chicken with rice and broccoli, and I'm accumulating leftovers. So tomorrow I'll be pairing some things up for interesting combinations. I'll need to get to the grocery before the Thanksgiving madness rush hits.

That place looks great! I'd have to drive to Detroit or WV to visit one though :(

Ooh, I enjoy Primanti Brothers. It's been years.

Leftovers tonight.

Well, if you go crazy and drive to WV, you might as well get a little crazier and come visit me!

Lunch was a bowl of Honey Nut Cheerios, which was exactly what I wanted, and dinner with be hot dogs with cheese and onions.
I am now stocked with meals until the week following Thanksgiving, since I'll be eating leftovers for a few days, or at least, what doesn't freeze well.

I had tomato soup, some kind of tiny
pasta with no sauce and some mushy mixed vegetables. I heard the server tell someone that the soup was just tomato sauce. It did taste like it was just tomato sause so I poured it on the pasta. It did not help much and I Ieft most of the dinner.

Well tonight they again had the exact same soup and mushy vegetables as they had last night. There are less people coming down to eat so I guess they have a lot of left overs. I ate half of a grilled cheese and half of the soup and left the fries they gave me.
