Purraise has evolved since its inception. When it was first added to the site the only option was a thumbs up and the expectation was you would only give purraise to really good to exceptional posts. You'll notice some of us that have been here since the start of it don't hand out purraise as freely as others. Now that more options have been added the purraise function is used in a similar fashion as it is on Facebook, Instagram, etc. Some of the wording on what you quoted could probably be reviewed.

I admit I can't take in a huge lump of information all at the same time, which causes problems on forums when a moderator or admin needs to talk to me about multiple different things, then they get mad at me for needing one thing at a time to be addressed, if there's multiple things the admin/moderators need to raise with me

just saying for in case it happens here where they need to say loads of stuff to me .........

I think you will find that TCS is a very welcoming and forgiving site. I'm sure you will feel comfortable here so post away and remember, we love pics of cats too!
