Anyone know where to get this faux leaf arrangement? Or the individual pieces to make one myself? It looks like metal or gold foil covered something. I'm looking at Etsy but not finding much that doesn't require costly international shipping.

No but I can tell you that the right and left bits are either actual Ginkgo leaves or imitation ones (hard to tell from photo). Depending on where you live Ginkgos can often be found in city streets….Google “how to make skeleton leaves.”

That’s so brutal. Feel free to talk more about your uncle if you want. try to hold on to the good memories…let the painful ones go like dross. (Hard to do now, I know).
Thanks
It’s occupied my mind for pretty much the entire day.
I really liked my uncle, he was pretty chill, always able to diffuse any tension with a funny story and a great accompanying laugh.
If he didn’t agree with something, he had this soft drawl, “Awwww, I don’t know about thaaat…”. You couldn’t let that fool ya, though; he was smarter than the average bear, as they say.
I know my sadness doesn’t compare to the devastation my aunt and cousins are feeling, but still, to not even get a notice… 😢

No, they are definitely faux leaves. If you look closely the leaves aren't solid. They have an open vein-like structure like this:

The palm-like leaves are solid and also likely faux. I found a few possible options for both leaves online.

Is this a really what's on your mind forum?
So long as it meets TOS, yep. Pretty much anything goes. HOWEVER...if the subject is controversial, I'd highly suggest the IMO subforum. What goes in IMO, stays in IMO, which allows some pretty intense discussions that don't spill out into the general forums. Keeps the general forums safe and pleasant for everyone.

I read the Etsy policy on handmade items for sellers. It's kind of a gray area. A seller can design items and rely entirely on outside assistance to produce the products and still call it handmade. I'm guessing that's what this particular seller is doing and why the same products are sold on Amazon. I left a 4 out of 5 star review for the seller. I didn't make a big deal out of the fact that the item was shipped and delivered by Amazon, only that it confused me because from the item description I assumed the seller would be actually hand making the item and ship it directly to me.
In some cases I thought the seller was also the producer. I've found on Etsy that some sellers whom sell used items don't mention the the imperfections of the item being sold. I closely review photos especially on used items though not always every angle can be seen. I leave reviews that warrant the quality of the item I receive, the condition and shipping time.

I was just wondering how come the Bible doesn't mention anything about dogs and cats going to heaven. IMO I think they do, but I sure would like to be 100% sure! Please don't knock me off if saying this is wrong please just delete it please!!! Thank You
I think this would be better posted in the IMO forum. :)

Hot take:

Vacation with a toddler is not actually a vacation. It's just traveling.
This is a fact. :hugs: We did so many (to visit family type vacations) but we kept them shorter until they were older and didn’t need quite as much supervision. 3-4 nights was much more manageable for me than 6-7 like we used to do.

Yah, though I appreciate the sentiment, most things religious or political usually go in the IMO section. 😉

I'm in the market for a new couch, I guess. My parents bought this one when I was 13 (!), and they gave it to me when I moved out. It's looking pretty bad.

Apparently IKEA recently discontinued it, so prices for covers are ridiculous.

Me too..trying to decide what I like and what will be cat proof..not many will stand up to an 19 pound cat doing zoomies over it.
