Hmmm. Am I the only one who sees big bunny ears in this cloud? Don’t tell Whistle!
You have a great eye for spotting pictures in the clouds. 🐇 Poor Whistle, though, even the sky is out to get him. ;)

We have 2 day lily plants, both 'Hello Screamer', but they are not the same, at least not quite. Here is the 'different' one
What's the difference? Those blooms seem to match Google search pics for "Hello Screamer".

Here's another new this year Day Lily from my garden.

It's called "Double Pardon Me"

The colors of the petals are different. The inner ring is darker, while the outer is also different.

See the difference? And yet both are supposed to be the same.

Hello everyone!!! I just thought I share this with you. I was reading this report this morning about a Cyclospora outbreak the FDA is trying to trace, but do not know the source yet. 51 people affect so far. Also in the report it lists Samonella, Listeria and Hep A outbreaks and the products linked to it. FDA finds new Cyclospora outbreak; continues investigations on others

Please be careful when especially buying produce, dairy, refrigerated and frozen goods. Food recalls are way up this year, so it is becoming a gamble when you go shopping. Stay safe everyone. I hope you found this report informative.

Take care.🙂

Oh dear! Thanks for the heads up. It's such a dangerous world out there.

Do they have nudist snail colonies?
They do. One of them appears to be in one of the Back Door Cats' bowls! And you KNOW how I feel about that!!!

What are you implying?

At some point, I now fully expect Whistle to run, screaming, into the vet's office, saying, "TIP THEM, TIP THEM, TOO BIG, TOO BIG!!!"

So true. Well I hope it created more awareness to the growing number of recalls and the dangers out there. Very alarming.

Well, have a great weekend everyone. Hope all is well at Chez Catbird Jcatbird Jcatbird .

Does anyone else see the German Shepherd dog standing on his hind legs watching the sun setting in those clouds?
yes I can see a dog, too.
Beautiful photo.

Loving all the flower pictures. It makes me smile and forget that I was just attacked by some large black birds. Now I fear feeding my colony every time I step out of my apartment. Any advice what to do?

Are you ok? Wonder if they had young, and thought you were a danger to them. I don't have any advice, unfortunately, but fingers crossed it was a one time thing, and won't happen again. 🤗

Hi everyone! Sorry I am absent but sick right now. Apparently the shipment I got in had been sprayed with something. I got a second shipment and have left it outside after using gloves to dispose of the outer boxes. The company admits something was used on the stuff but they don’t know what it is. So, to everyone, if you catch a scent from anything shipped in……. don’t touch it! I am guessing it was insecticide since there were ants and now I have found dead crickets in a box. I didn’t catch as much of the scent from the first load maybe because of the spoiled catfood? IDK but it made me itch and feel yucky. This last load was much stronger and I noticed quickly, made an immediate call. The rep was very concerned but could not provide more info. Suggested a blood test to figure out what chemicals! Lol This was NOT Chewy. Going to sign back out and finish chores.

Maria Bayote Maria Bayote Use an Umbrella! Birds recognize individuals. I think they may have a nest near or may be hoping to make you drop the cat food so they can eat it. If not an umbrella then a hoodie or hat to hide your face and give you a buffer. Long sleeves too. I used to have to try and fool the buzzards. A slight change in clothing or routine.
Be back as soon as I can.
Loads of love to everyone! Cat massage , nice relaxed stretch and smiles too!

tarasgirl06 tarasgirl06 I hope everything is better there and you are well again.
