Last night they had a chicken salad wrap. I asked for one with without the chicken. They have a new cook and he gave me a wrap with the chicken. I don't think he knows or cares what a vegetarian eats. We also had peas and a bag of potato chips.

Tonight they are having a Italian sub, creamy cucumber salad and a bag of potatoes chips. They had the same thing last Tuesday. I asked if I could get a sub with cheese, tomato, lettuce and mayo last week and all they gave me was a piece of lettuce and 2 slices of tomato with no cheese or mayo. I'm going tonight and ask for the same thing tonight just to see what I get. Last week everyone else got a sub that was loaded with meat and they would not even give me one slice of cheese.

Leftovers tonight. I think we're going to make steak wraps and enjoy the leftover wings, beans, etc.

M maggiedemi Next time I make a layered salad, I'll do a picture. When I do it for family dinners, I always layer everything in a glass bowl and then plop the dressing on top of the salad and spread it around like a frosting on a cake. Then I sprinkle grated cheeses atop the dressing. It really looks pretty in the bowl with the layers and then the dressing. I didn't do it that way this time because it was such a small salad, just for Rick and me. Didn't even put it in a glass bowl. Next time.

Lunch will be chicken Alfredo with broccoli, and I THINK dinner will be...well...I have no clue! I have to think about that! But tomorrow my bacon press and egg rings will be delivered. I'm just ACHING to get my griddle out and make really neatly put together breakfast sandwiches!!!

Not sure.. Do not care for what is on the menu. I have some crabmeat stuffed mushrooms which I bought for the holiday, but never ate. Perhaps those, but I hate to use the toaster oven.. It is warm in here. I shut the AC off because there was a nice breeze... not sure about it getting in my apartment..

Mild or Sharp? Enquiring minds need to know all the cheesy details.🧀

I'll be having a vegetarian Black Bean Crunchwrap Supreme from Taco Bell with Fire Sauce on it. For some reason Dad picked me up 2 of them after his eye appointment. I'll have the other one for lunch tomorrow. He only saved me 2 packets of superhot Fire Sauce. He ate 10 packets on his 2 soft tacos!!! 😲🔥

Ditto, same here and tomorrow they're calling for even worse temps with the heat index. I made fusilli pasta with french bread since I didn't have to turn on the oven. Strawberries for dessert.
We seem to be in a pattern and it's only gonna get worse so they say.I hope it's not the same for you!I did have my oven on yesterday as I made bread but it wasn't too bad.

Neither. It was medium. :)

Ended up having Gardein Crispy tenders and fries, with some cucumber and tomato on the side. Cinnamon apple sauce cup for dessert. And because M maggiedemi will want to know, sweet and sour sauce for the tenders, ketchup for the fries.
