Hi all,
Hoping to get some advice and opinions from any UK users regarding dry kitten food.
I have my two kittens Akila, my girl who is coming up to 9 months and Aten my little male who is coming up to 5 months.
I feed them on Katkin and I'm very pleased with their food, as are the kitties. I do however add just a little sprinkle of dry kitten food to each meal for some crunch and bulk (more like a topper). I currently use Royal canin kitten, however I'd like to know what may be some better alternatives anyone would recommend, that are readily available here?

Thank you in advance 😊

Have a look on Zooplus, they have a wide variety of good quality wet and dry food, some are sold in small trial packs.

I am very happy with their wet food (Katkin) which is about 80% of their diet. Just wanting to find a better value for quality dry for their "sprinkles" since Royal canin seems to have mixed reviews.
I do love Zooplus and that's a great idea! I've never really shopped for food on there, so I'll definitely head over and check out what they have.
Thank you! 😊

Do either of you or anyone else have any experience or opinions on scrumbles kitten and Queens?
The nutritional information looks pretty good to me. But just want to double check it's not lacking in anything as my younger kitten is a rescue and was severely underweight.
He's gaining reasonably normally now and is up to the lower end of average for his age but I'm still adding raw goats milk to his food and just don't want to throw him off (hence why I'm being a bit particular about foods)
Here's the info list for "Scrumbles kitten and queens" is it a better option than Royal canin kitten?

I haven't got experience with Scrumbles kitten, but Toffee and Fudge tried Scrumbles adult and it got mixed results. Fudge liked it, but Toffee wasn't so keen, and they're not picky eaters at all (this was in fact the first food they've turned down!).

Oh wow! Thank you for letting me know. I'll definitely keep that in mind if I decide to give it a try and do as verna davies above suggested and only purchase a trial sized pouch.

P.s LOVE your cats names 🥰

I usually feed Applaws or they do love the Eden range but it’s quite hard to get hold of and expensive, although for all life stages also so can be kept on throughout. Applaws is easily available and although also expensive it’s good quality imo. My cats love their dry and wet food from both those brands, kittens and adults alike.

Ah, Eden! I adore that company despite their sometimes difficult availability. I used to feed my dogs on their food+ raw when they were still with me; but I'd buy in bulk which I'm less able to do so at the moment. I hadn't thought about checking out their cat food though tbh and definitely will!
I must admit, I was looking at Applaws today at petsathome. So that's definitely something I could try and have easy access to as well (it's only a 5 minute walk from me) It's within the same price range as what I'm currently feeding for dry anyway so thank you!
