Finally got HB a cat tree and after a bit of hesitation she's decided she loves it :) shes currently napping in it & has explored everywhere but the highest perch.View attachment 398388View attachment 398389

Ps dont mind my janky blinds, she murdered them & i need to get new ones.
Cats tastes change with age. She may grow to enjoy the highest perch at some future date. I had one tree that Krista looked at once or twice and didn't use for months. Then out of nowhere, it became her new favorite.

Been there. Done that. No apology necessary! I've got my miniblinds raised to cat height so they can look out from the windowsill unimpeded.

Looks like your blinds are pretty popular too.

Lmao, she mangled them, thats the second set she killed. She messed up the ones on another window too but instead of completely mangling those she just bent a cat size hole in the bottom left corner.

Ive been redoing the apt and was debating getting curtains, but then i saw vertical blinds and i think that might be the answer, she can just push between them instead of messing them up to get through. Still debating options. I'm used to how it looks, lol. Plus i have a philosophy on house damage by cats. Ive broken glasses and dishes. Spilled stuff on the carpet. My feeling is if i'm not expected to be perfect & never mess up the house, neither is the cat :)
