Please help me. Please someone or something. I cannot lose her. I cannot. I will leave if anyone can even assist. I'm sorry I didn't think I would be in this position. She pushed 1 kitten out 3 hours ago, she's been pushing ever since but no other kittens. She's been panting more and more and it's just hurting my brain and heart. I truly need help where can I get monetary help and who is willing? I want to go to the emergency vet now.

Take her to the emergency vet immediately. Can you not sort out a payment plan afterwards?

Hi! I called 3 emergency vets. One is full. One was just unkind. One was kind and said that it's normal? And that they give birth to a pre me first, give it 1 to 2 hours then come. I am unsure how it works, I suppose I tell them I will need a payment plan after they see my cat?

Call a regular vet office and ask if they will see your cat and give you a payment plan.

It sounds like a breech kitten is stuck in the birth canal. It will likely be stillborn, but any other kittens behind it may die as well.

Your cat needs a caesarian section.

Have you any friends or relatives with money?

Are you in the U.S.? You can apply for a Care Credit card if so.

Please keep us posted!

Was your cat treated? How is she?
No! just an x ray. I tried everything. I'll just have to find a way to gather around 1.8k for the c section today and tomorrow. One kitten is breech and could rupture her uterus. So if anyone has any ideas please assist!!! Where to go etc. And I'm thinking about taking her to a sanctuary or something so she can live but vet said there aren't many that have space.

It's truly cruel that it's the cat I have a strong bond for. That kneads me. Lays next to my head. Follows me. It's just a poopy world. I get in a car accident and my life just....failed.

I'm so sorry this is happening to you and your cat. I wish I could offer advice, but I'm not in the US and things work very differently where I am.

Good news!!! Super kind doctor(s) performed one for free. I felt joy!! Not everyone gets this opportunity. I mainly have feelings, not really good with words. What a Rollercoaster.
Was busy replying above when your next post came in. SO SO happy and relieved for you and your cat!! Congrats!!!!!

Such good news! How is mom? Did any kittens survive? Is she able to nurse or are you syringe feeding?

Niadaniels Niadaniels
There were 6 including the one that came out only 3 made it. She is nursing but she's really tired. I'm thinking of trying to get some formula maybe?

I'm so glad to hear she made it! And three surviving kittens isn't bad. It's very sad for the others of course, but Mum has some babies to love and care for and should recover well.

Please take a look at some of the articles in our Pregnant Cats and Kitten Care forum. These ones will probably be useful for you.

Was she spayed at the same time the c-section was done?

Hey people! I have a bad flea problem, I've never seen so much flea poop. I've never had it this bad and I'm ready to start treating it.So, Hana (the one that had a c-section) has it bad but she's nursing and healing (very nicely and quickly) , but she will be getting internal sutures removed in 5 days. I read that capstar will go in her system and the kittens will also ..? I don't know I just don't want to harm or slow down any healing. Please assist c:

You definitely need to do something to get rid of fleas. With a nursing mom, can you use a flea comb to remove many? Wash and dry the bedding often and if you use a flea comb , each time you get fleas caught in it, dunk it in soapy water of original Dawn dish liquid and water. Clean it quickly to drown those fleas and be careful not to comb mom cat near the incision. Capstar only kills fleas for 24 hours on a cat and I have never used it on a mom with new babies. A vet phone call can tell you if that is safe. You can also call a Humane Society, a Rescue group or some other source near you with experience for newborns. I think you had one vet that was kind when you called about labor? They can tell you if treatment is safe right now. Capstar won’t kill flea eggs. Vacuum floors, furniture , mop, whatever you can do to get rid of them. Do this regularly to be sure they are gone. If you put a white towel under the mom as you comb, the fleas tend to jump there and you can see them easily. So glad that you are helping this mom cat and babies! Did mom get spayed during the surgery? Guessing she did. That will help to keep her healthier as she gets older.

Yes, vet can give you a Capstar pill for mom, but she needs a topical flea treatment such as Advantage II or Frontline Plus. It’s very important that you change bedding and wash it in hot water, as well as vacuum all around. There are carpet flea sprays available that can be sprayed, but not while the cats are in the room. Flea comb kittens. This must be brought under control. It can take 2-3 weeks of diligent efforts.
