I was out at the gym earlier today and boy oh boy, is it ever cold outside! :coldcat: The temp was below zero when I left but in the single digits now. I dropped off a library book I recently finished on my way home and I'm looking forward to read the new book I picked up over the weekend. I tend to read more in winter because I'm home inside more. My favorite time to read is in the late afternoon with my feet up on the sofa in our family room . 📖

QUESTION OF THE DAY - WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE TIME TO READ?
MORNING, AFTERNOON OR EVENING AND WHERE DO YOU LIKE TO SIT AND READ?

All. Anytime. Anyplace. I finish most days by reading on the couch after everyone is in bed. I read when I'm on the elliptical. I have to watch letting myself read at the table when the kids are doing school assignments because then I don't want to be interrupted. Or if I go take a few minutes of quiet time in my bedroom. I could lose track of time easily!

It doesn't really matter to me when I read, but I like to make sure my daily "chores" are done so I'm not interrupted much.As to where I prefer to read,I like to sit in my rocking chair this time of year with a cozy cover over my legs, and that would put me in the living room.So often my chair is not my own,I usually end up at the dining room table, which is fine too..

I love to read in bed at night before going to sleep.

Welcome to the site Gypsy Witch & Persephone Gypsy Witch & Persephone . I'm in Arizona too.

I like to read in my recliner in the living room or on the patio during the day when it's sunny and bright. Sometimes Chiqui graces me with her presence when I'm out there. Her cat tree and litter box are out there and she cat sit and watch the birds and quails and dogs go by.

Thanks! From September until April I'm in the middle of the desert.

In the kitchen
Usually mid-to-late afternoon. I have everything done that needs to be done and I can sit down for a while. I usually hit the WeShed for some me-time. But I also like reading at night, once the kitchen is cleaned up from dinner and after the news is over. I'll grab my iPad and go to bed. "Girls! Bed!" and, one by one, they'll come back and hop up. It's quiet, it's peaceful, and I've got Molli in my left arm. Rick watches tv at night and I read.

Although my favourite place to read is outside on my deck, the spot I end up reading the most is in my living room, on my sofa, feet up on the ottoman, throw over my legs, and Ruby on my lap. :lovecat2:

As for favourite time to read, pretty much anytime works, though these days it's mostly in the evenings before bed.
