Minish is sleeping on the jacket I came from hospital with. After she slept on me. She got disoriented since I was sick at home and mewed pathetically when I returned from the hospital. I know it's egoistic but I was happy to hear her kittenish mews. I said to myself "oww, she missed me as much as I did her"

Lilith is relaxing in her tent. Sophie is sitting on the freezer in the kitchen. I went to Dunkin to use my free drink offer before it expired. She was waiting for me. It's by the window.

It's my 3rd day at home after my surgery. Minish is finally sure that I'm not leaving her and I'm getting better. She doesn't insist on being my nurse (whining until my bedroom door is open, jumping on the bed to walk on my body until she settles for a purr) though she checks up on me more frequently than usual. Her stress zoomies stopped and she is almost back to her sassy self, asking for food every 4 hours. This gave me confidence in my recovery because I believe in my cat's reactions more than my state of mind in such matters. She is currently moving within the apartment finding spots to sleep nearby,as I move between the rooms to sit and lay down

The cats and I are shut in the TV room while the plumber replaces our water heater in another room. I've moved a litter box in here, and they've had breakfast AND treats. Zoe is sleeping but Ozzy is staring at the door, acting like he's been trapped in here for days.

With Gracie no longer around, this has become Boone's favorite spot. I even had to buy more pillows because he would always sleep on mine and there just wasn't enough room for the both of us.

Week and a half ago, they kept getting into fights so they have been separated since because Boone will hiss at her and Gracie attacks. He lives on one floor of the house and she lives on another now.
Why did they suddenly fight? I mean rivel and silver play rough sometimes, but very rarely they vocalize and hiss to each other. Sometimes it happens but never to the point furs were flying or any open wound thankfully

Spooky is probably hiding under the bed at her new home or just hanging out on the bed of her new human ( she will be in my arms soon)

We have no idea why this happened. We assume it had to do with a cat that comes by the house to harass Gracie. No idea why this time was different. I guess Boone got tired of Gracie taking her aggression for that cat out on him and decided that he wasn't having it anymore. Been almost a month and just this morning, I opened the door to go down and feed Gracie and Boone caught a glimpse of her on the step and hissed.

I am at the point now where I feel like letting Gracie upstairs and letting her beat the crap out of Boone. Maybe that will knock some sense into him and he will stop freaking out at the sight of her and hissing. Gracie is getting to the point where being downstairs 24/7 is bothering her and she wants upstairs. I don't blame her.

Maybe you should do a reintroduction proper? That's sad if they have to live separately.

Anyway, good luck!!
