Just my usual 2 hour indoor walk. I got some headbands to keep my hair out of my face. I haven't worn these since the 80s! I also got some metal barrettes. Haven't worn those since high school. We used to wear a ponytail for waitressing, but I don't really like that look on me. The headbands aren't really tight enough, I was hoping for more of a grip, hopefully they will stay in. I just got 5 black. If they work out, I might get more colors. Pics below:

I've bobby pinned headbands in place before!

High of 18 today with a windchill of 6. I'm staying inside today and just doing bladder exercises!

I did a 90 minute yoga routine yesterday, vinyasas and arm balances, then about 15 minutes of clearing snow so lots of upper body work. Today I had lots of errands to run then went for curry, so that's my carb allowance for the week. :yummy:

I managed an hour of slower yoga too. Maybe a walk tomorrow if the snow starts to melt.

:crossfingers:

Now I have an image in my mind of you doing this. Not sure if it's accurate.

It was warm (for winter) here today (46F) so I did an outside walk. 28 minutes again.
You are a true Canadian for sure. 75 is still cold to me. I wonder if the storm will hit here.

Just my 2 hour indoor walk as usual. I was thinking of changing it to 1 hour one of these days. It takes up such a huge chunk of my day! It seems like I don't have time to do anything else. But I seem to get better results from 2 hours.

I definitely prefer 75F to 32F, but I find I do get climatized to the temps after a bit, so that the cold doesn't seem so bad. Of course wearing a hat, gloves, winter coat, warm boots all help. As long as there's no bitter north wind, or ice on the sidewalk, I'm going to try to keep getting my daily walks.

I even ventured out already today. Just a few wet flurries falling, so wasn't too bad. Not a long walk, but a fast paced 22 minute one, which per google was 1.24 miles at 3.4 MPH (2 kilimetres at 5.5 KM per hour). My goal is still to get a good paced 30 minute walk a day. Will get there eventually.

Two hours is a big chunk of the day! Maybe alternate, 2 hours one day, 1 hour the next.

Does it involve a tiny human crawling on top of me
Ha! That reminds me of when I was babysitting Andrew, he was about J's age. I tried to do my situps at their house, but he threw himself on top of me!

Just my usual 2 hour walk indoors. I probably should weigh myself. My face and stomach/sides look way too thin, but I still have that extra flab on butt/thighs/arms from all that dessert me & dad sampled. It's so weird. How do you gain weight in one area, but lose in another? It makes no sense, it should even out.

I sometimes have to do yoga poses with a cat balancing on my back or stomach. It's good for your core!

90 minutes of yoga on Saturday, 90 minute walk in the icky snow and 45 minutes of deep stretching today.

Demi hated it when I did my stretching exercises. He would stand behind me and howl, I don't know why. He doesn't bother me on my walks.

Just my 2 hour indoor walk today. The headbands didn't work out. I don't think they are thick enough, they don't keep my hair back out of my face. Today I am trying a metal barrette. If this doesn't work, I might have to use a ponytail, even though I don't really like how it looks.

Just my usual 2 hour indoor walk. I think this is my fourth week! I'll have to go back a few pages and check if I have time.

I made it past 30 minutes on my Sunday walk. Ended up being 32 minutes.:woohoo:

Yesterday was cold, so only managed 13 minutes, though.

And today is colder, so will not be venturing outside the door.

January is the coldest so far. If we can just make it to April. My favorite months are April to October I think. I can't remember what March is like, but I think it's still pretty cold and snowy.

Just my usual 2 hour indoor walk. My hair fell out of the metal barrette. Maybe I can wear the barrette and headband together. I wonder if I would like a bandana. I just need to keep my hair out of my face, it's driving me nuts.
