Finished this one. It was a Ravensburger I was dying do but it turned out not to be as interesting as I had hoped. Too much brown and muted colors for me.

The puzzle board was really helpful, not just for keeping Lola from scattering pieces but also because being able to easily turn the puzzle made completing it much faster. I also liked being able to push it away when I needed space for other things.

If anyone is looking for a great puzzle light this Ryobi light is wonderful. It has three light levels and you can bend the light up or down so it hits the right spot. Easier to move around than a corded one and uses Ryobi universal tool rechargeable batteries. I was able to get through almost the whole puzzle without needing a fresh battery.

I was given a mini-chainsaw for Christmas (as you do ) and realised that I now have a Makita battery that I can use for other things. I was considering getting the Makita equivalent of this torch and now I will! What a great idea. :)

mani mani , it is just such a useful size - I am grabbing it for this and that all the time.
Also excellent for us, here, coming into cyclone season when we sometimes lose power.

it was relatively easy until about the last third of the puzzle.
Isn't that usually the way of it.. anywhere from the last 1/3 onwards you get stuck with all the sky/browns/trees/cat fur.

Lari Lari before you know it she'll be whizzing through this:

Is that a penguin shirt?! My brother would love that, he's obsessed with penguins. 🐧
It is! I also love penguins, so I was happy when it showed up in my box of hand me down clothes my friend passed on.

I usually get jigsaws as hand-me-downs, opp shop buys or big sales, but I'm a bit tempted by Heye's new one:
